The Biggest Chart Battle In AGES
Oh yes, so they are  I suppose Leona will just have to take her chance then. She'll be in a win win situation, even if she doesn't get #1

The Biggest Chart Battle In AGES
I wonder if Leona will get pushed back a week. Her video still isn't out and with a 2 week gap until the album, I think it's possible the label might do this now.

Album News
I think Robbie will be performing, so there's the slot for the artist with a 'new studio album on the horizon and first single promotion' taken care of ;) And yes apparently Mika is British, in much the same way Daniel Bedingfield was. A bit of a mixture of foreign parents, birth place and citizenship, but he's British :D

Album News
Nah, not this year he won't. No studio album = no nomination = no performance, End Of. The Brits are a total farce anyway oh yes, Mika will be best male 2008. Lucien Grange (although he's not in charge next year) has spent bundles on this lad, he can't fail to pick up the Brit, no contest ;) :D And if Leona sells a shedload, I wouldn't bet against her picking up an award either ;)

Will's Smiles
Ooops sorry Eggie, I din't realise that, don't think I've ever seen a siggie so big before, a double whammy so to speak

Will's Smiles
I don't know who either of those people are in your post eggie, or why you've chosen to post their pictures in a forum entiltled Will's Smiles :o Perhaps our mods can move them to a more suitable place, but without knowing who and why you've posted, that could prove a problem.

Leona Lewis
I think sometimes people just enjoy a little bit of discussion Mikey. Once artists are given their own forum, they just become dedicated ones really, little extensions of the artists own sites. To be honest, the pop forum is really underused now because there's so many artists froums.

#1 Track in Ireland
Louis sells Shayne as a homespun 'Oirish boyo' over there, plus he has him on just about every Irish tv show there is, he did a signing in Dublin during the week and just to help UK sales, he's in Belfast this morning It's a hard sale, something I doubt James Blunt's manager resorts to ;) nor many other managers for that matter

Shayne Ward - If That's OK With You / No U Hang Up
It doesn't really matter much does it? Sugababes will be #1 next week for sure and Shayne will do a McFly and drop like the proverbial stone even if multi downloading die hard fans get him to the top this week  If he ever gets material equal to his talent, then he might be a serious contender in the male solo artist stakes, but these two tracks of lightweight pop certainly haven't done him any justice. 'Is that OK with You?' for me to have an opinion? Or is a certain artist's fans meant to keep stum when any other male, any other reality singer is mentioned in a thread?

Leona Lewis
So 3 covers then and the Roberta Flak track was on Journey South's album too. Sounds more like it's one of Simon's favourite tracks to me. B)

Leona Lewis
She'll have the Kelly Clarkson cover on there for sure won't she as it was her own first single? And is 'The First Time I Saw Your Face a new track, or as the 'ever' been left out and it's a cover of the Roberta Flak /Celine Dion tracks?

Will Performing at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club.
Will's version of that really is to die for, isn't it?  Whoever the person was who said his was the best rendition of Ole Devil' she'd ever heard, certainly wasn't wrong there. It's a favourite of mine, I've heard it sung by loads of artists, but no one has done it as good as Will.

OS Update 21/09 news from Will
An Audi Quattro  The family are Audi fans aren't they and Will's had a small A3 for years, so it's possible that he might have been given this one by Audi or even leased it for a while . Doubt he'll get rid of the Porsche, 'cos that's an investment that probably will increase in value ;)

OS Update 21/09 news from Will
Thanks for bringing that over Gill :D I'd heard he'd got a posh new car, but knowing what Will's like ,holding on to his cars forever, I thought that maybe it wasn't so, but if cars are now a topic of conversation perhaps he really has treated himself. Wonder if he trade the Porsche in, or is just adding to the collection

Album News
I'm with you there because circumstances have really changed since Will was last out there promoting. Even the big sellers like Amy now have to do lots of live gigs, James Morrison has, so has Paulo Nutini. I hope Will does too, because promotion for the last album seemed to be over and done with so quickly, with just the obligatory tv performances for the singles and the KO tour. No other live performances at all as I remember, oh except T4 but it seemed such a waste because there was so much life to be extracted from KO live :D

Album News
He's sure to do some Summer dates isn't he? I hope so, because it'll be a 3 years next year since he has. Hopefully the Liverpool pops and some of the stately homes as well, before an indoor tour this time next year.

Daily News, Gossip and Chat,
I flipping hope not. I hope he's in the studio with Biff, getting the album sorted. When that's finished, he can do any acting role he wants, but I want full concentration on this album now ;)

Daily Will Rant Thread.
Well that's because he's a member of Devoted ;) I've got to be honest, how sad must a blokes life be if he stoops so low as to join a dedicated site just to monitor the posts of it's members and s**t stir on other sites.

Daily News, Gossip and Chat,
Anyone else get the impression with Will, that he much prefers working with talented and creative people, even if it's on small scale projects, than going the usual pop star World dominating route ? I think he is happy and fulfilled in his work at the moment, with an ambition like playing Ronnie Scotts being an example of what pleases him the most. As for his acting, I think he's had to put the album first since the Vortex ended, probably Ged's visit on the last night reminded him of the small matter of a recording contract to honour ;) so whether there'll be time to fit something in before the release of album 4 and the promo that will follow, who knows? He'll have to get in pretty quick if it's going to happen :D

24TH SEPTEMBER : predict
Will he manage it without being playlisted on the major radio stations?
-
Daily News, Gossip and Chat,
I hope if there are any critics there, that they recognise this gig for what it really is. An indulgence for Will, an ambition to sing jazz and swing with a jazz band in a famous jazz venue. The fact that the tickets were offered to Will's fans makes it clear that there isn't any intention of trying to convert Ronnie Scott's regulars to his supporters but to perform a different genre of music for his own fans to enjoy. That said, our press and critics would be much to thick and pig ignorant to realise that though.

Shayne Ward - If That's OK With You / No U Hang Up
You keep telling us that awsuki, so why the heck have they gone with such dire singles to lead with then? Are the powers that be so oblivious to the tenuous state of the music industry that they try to sell an album by picking the worst tracks possible to showcase it?
-
Shayne Ward - If That's OK With You / No U Hang Up
It already has been. Nov 26th is the 'pushed back' date. :D
-
Shayne Ward - If That's OK With You / No U Hang Up
It's definitely being released on the 26th November and I think it's likely there'll be another single to promote it.

Shayne Ward - If That's OK With You / No U Hang Up
I was following you right up until the last sentence, then you lost me completely I'm afraid. You've obviously joined here to make a case on Shayne's behalf, no idea what that is though
