  1. I know who some people are but not others. I don't think that's a bad thing really. It's nice to be in a different place with no baggage from another site, a bit like starting afresh all over again :D

The only definite information we have is that Will is going to be on the BBC Planet Earth Programme fronted by David Attenborough. He filmed with gorillas in the Gabon back last November for this programme, so stick with us kid, you'll hear all about it when it's due for showing
  3. I think his label will want it out at the most profitable time of the year, pre Xmas. For an artist like Will who has such a wide age range of fans, it could make a significant difference to sales with albums being bought as presents. The fact that his sales rely almost entirely on the domestic market is another reason to release at the biggest selling period of the year. Of course, if the album isn't ready, SBMG are gonna have to whistle for it, but he had a lot of free time last year by pop star standards that I'm sure he must have been doing something. That's my main reason for thinking the end of the year, although I have a couple more. And BTW, Robbie released 6 of his first 7 albums yearly and no earlier than October and Westlife's first 6 albums were released annually in November. Two other huge selling domestic artists.
  4. Got my hopes pinned on it being the end of the year, but don't shoot me if it's not :D
  5. I can't remember reading anything about him since the piccies of him leaving London. Then we had the report of the private gig in Lisbon, but there's not been anything since has there? He may not even have come back to the UK after Portugal, but then again, he's like the flipping Scarlet Pimpernel at the moment "They seek him here, they seek him there " Editing to add: Of course, I forgot, he was seen last Saturday in his car near Shepperton wasn't he? Oh well, let's hope he's holed up writing somewhere this week, maybe he's at his other house waiting for the muse to hit him :D
  6. Welcome NoWillPower :welcome: My moan is I thought we might have got a sighting/piccie of Will at Groove Armada's album launch, but nothing :( I though he'd be at that one for sure, on his doorstep, he's written with them, but if he's busy getting on with his album, I'll forgive him this time :D
  7. If we don't win this forum thingy on Monday, I'm gonna demand a recount

She hasn't posted in a while but she was on line on Tuesday. Funnily enough I checked earlier hoping that she still visited :D
  9. Welcome from me too Nokia :welcome: Oh dear, we're welcoming all our new members in the rant thread, never mind, a welcome's a welcome wherever it happens
  10. Yes, Welcome from me too samsung, should have said that in my previous post  :cheer:
  11. I must be having a blonde moment but I don't get what you mean :D

When you look at his sales, both for c.ds and concerts, then you realise that the few of us on his sites are a very small drop in the ocean compared to the amount of fans he has. :D
  13. Well yes, and it's been a lovely little forum, a refuge for when things get a little bit OTT over on D, how ironic that the first time we've ever strayed from the real reason why we're here, so many people have come to have a look at us. What a pity they haven't joined in before.
  14. Nothing and to be fair, Elvis was just the catalyst for all this. We'd had the chunter about members leaving D, the way some over there behave, you know, all the usual, things that have been said many times on D anyway, and it was mentioned how we weren't allowed to critisise other artists. I think that when Dot posted on here that she was going to start a topic about the Vernon show and that she'd probably get flak for it, it was seen by some on D as provocative probably. I don't think for an instant that that was Dot's intention but people read it here, posted that BJ was an open site, and hence the number of visitors. :D

You know, that day and those performances were the defining moment for me. The moment I knew that he was going to be a star. It was just 7 months after the PI final, he'd already lasted a month longer than a lot of the media had predicted ;) but there was still the worry that maybe he'd be the solo equivalent of Hear'Say. When he performed Summertime and then BOTROAD, you just knew that Will was going to come through and have many years in the music business, he was just too talented not to.
  16. I thought Sunbeam was still here but with a different username, obviously not
  17. There's 37 anonnymous viewers on the OS as I type. I've taken to checking on there lately and theres always a lot of anonnymous users, I wonder why this is, never used to be, but sometimes, there's more people viewing the OS than there is Devoted and D has it's fair share even now. :D

Oooh I bet you feel like celebrating Great news, I'm so pleased for you.
  19. The problem was though Jue, that a certain person didn't wait for any guidance from Phil or the mods, before stepping in, very rudely I must say, to have a pop at our friend posting the piccies (and I don't mean the person who first raised her concerns, very politely I might add.) I think most of us over there were savvy enough to know what was behind it all, but all the same, all posters are equal, there's just a few who think they're more equal than others and that's what causes the problems.
  20. Is he French? I thought he was Russian  He's still reading on the site, but I think someone was really out of order the way she had a go at him on there and not for the first time either
  21. Unfortunately, our man that used to find us the piccies over on D hasn't been about either. Don't blame him really, but the rest of us are having to do without now.

I'm still looking at late this year for a new release. And I agree with you munchkin, I think SBMG might have put their foot down and reined him in :D He has got a contract and he does get advances and as much as he thought he'd be able to take 6 months off travelling, a couple of years out acting, I bet SBMG have other ideas. ;)
  23. She's better known as Vanessa Mae, an extremely gifted violinist who I believe is Vietnamese or part Vietnamese, with adoptive English parents/parent. She has been famous since she was a child but I'm astounded that she's worth as much as she is.

Looking more & more likely from talk on WOS, that the part of Fiyero in Wicked has gone to the present understudy, Olly Thompsett I'm sorry if anyone here wanted to see Will in that role, but personally, as much as I don't mind him doing a musical, I just didn't fancy that one somehow.
  25. And I'm probably on my own in the World of Will's fans in saying I don't care either. It's Wills bloke, hope he's happy, but I'm more interested in the music or even the acting roles that might be coming along
