  1. I've often wondered if her problem (and her willingness to accept everything that's been said about him) is because he didn't acknowledge her country's flag when she was waving it at Killerton. I always felt that she thought, having travelled all that way, that she would be singled out for special recognition from Will, when the truth is, he probably never thought that it was any more than a foreign national living here .
  2. She's the "some country singer" who actually wrote the bloody song and actully manages an interpretation that doesn't assault the eardrums with it's volume of decibels.

I felt sorry for her. What with the mic not working, a poor song and off key and weak vocals as well, it was a very poor performance all round
  4. I don't know about anyone else, but I've always thought this 6 month holiday malarkey was a bit of wishful thinking on Wills part :D I mean not only has he got his music, but acting agents looking out for roles for him, plus there's Conor. He's hardly likely to take off and backpack round the World at the drop of a hat, is he? ;) So, it looks like these videos have had to be fitted in before the 3 month run in the Vortex (the Wicked rumours seem to have died the death now) so although I doubt they're anything to do with Wills next album, it would be interesting to know exactly what they're all about. :D Do they do videos for film soundtracks? Is he going to release in the US? he was offered a contract last year I think, didn't he say though that it was too restrictive or something? Gawd knows what he's doing, have to wait 'til something actually happens I suppose. :D
  5. I tell you what looking glass boy, go and tell someone who cares, youll find them at www.Shayne Ward.co,uk. they might be interested in what the South Africans thought of Shayne, I don't think any of us on this forum gives a monkeys do we? :D
  6. I saw Lily at Wembley arena last night, she was supporting the Scissor Sisters. I've never really bothered with her much, but she was great last night, I really liked 'Alfie' :D
  7. We're up to no.3 tonight so a big pat on the back for all you busy posters. :yahoo: Sorry I haven't been one of them, but I do come over to read everyday ;)
  8. I think they wouldn't want to formally announce it until this run of tickets were over. It could affect sales if people held on waiting for Will, especially as they are selling tickets fro Dec/Jan/Feb at the moment. Just a thought ;) or, Maybe he really has another offer on the table in the shape of the Count of Monte Cristo role , and until the final decision between him & Ewan has been made, he can't commit to Wicked. It's great thinking up all these scenarios about Wills future, how near the truth they might be, is anyones guess :D

I don't know a lot about rock music but enough I think, to comprehend that growing your hair long and singing in a gravelly voice, does not a rock musician make. You see, back when I was young, rock singers were born, not made. Ben is a Jim Morrison tribute act who's ditched his band to appear on XFactor, a bit like Santa Claus ditching his reindeer when he need them to pull a sleigh. The final insult to rock musicians everywhere, was having that multi coloured pratt, taking him along to buy a guitar :o Ffs, what the hell was that all about? A rock star that doesn't even have his own guitar, you couldn't make it up.

They did a live gig last night that the journalist has described as 'frankly embarrassing' He also wondered why they bothered re-uniting, and went on to write. "Miming and barely talking to the audience, the only 'live' moments were the verses on Pure Shores. Unfortunately, this 90s classic highlighted how dull the new material of the girls is"
  11. I would say that nothing is ever set in stone. Like us ordinary people, circumstances often tend to lead us to change our plans and that could happen to Will too. Maybe now he has Conor in his life, a 6 month holiday may not seem a good idea. Conor has a career too, which he may not want to abandon at a drop of a hat to go travelling. Will has always said his personel happiness comes first, so while he's with Conor, he's got him to consider too. There may also be some truth in the Wicked story, which would see him based in London for months giving him plenty of time during the day for studio work. It really is all guess work with Will I think :D We're just going to have to wait & see. None of us expected a new album before late 2007 anyway, so a couple of months later, and we're in 2008 and we could have a spring release instead of an autumn one. ;)

You could play 'connections' with this one :D Pete waterman said Will reminded him of Bobby Darin during PI (although Will had never heard of him) Will used the words of a Bobby Darin song during the tour. Kevin Spacey played Boby Darin in a film. Kevin Spacey is a friend/ acquaintence of Wills. See, there's a little chain going on there :yahoo:

Yeah, I just watched my recording of SCD last night and saw him miming this  I didn't think it was in the same league as the tracks off his last album. Poor wasn't the description I was thinking of ;)

To be honest, the Mails review isn't too bad. I read this guys column most weeks and by comparison to some, Will has done alright ;)
  16. I love your sense of humour char1sma

Agree with all that you've said Suggy. It may have entered in the lowest chart position of Wills songs to date, but in real terms and in view of all it achieved, WAI is probably one of his most successful releases.

I have to agree with Lifelight, the whole reply was worded rather strangely. Surely a "there will not be a DVD release of this tour" rather than "there will be no DVD release available this year," would have clarified the situation a lot better.l P.S. the actual tour ends tonight Lifelight, although Will is performing at some concerts in South Africa in November, he's not taking his tour there.
  19. To be fair to Steve, and that's not easy for me, 'cos he's not an easy bloke to like, I think the parting of the ways was a joint decision. Simon wasn't really interested and only wanted to carry on pushing out covers, Steve wanted to record his own material, so it suited both sides to end the contract. I just think it's a pity that such an unlikeable guy has such a good voice ;)
  20. We're back up to no.4 tonight
  21. Just for those who maybe don't already know, Shelley is supporting Will Young on his current tour.
  22. Yep, I think she did. I still think she was wrong to air her view on the show though, but I'm sure she had him sussed ;) He's always hung around the DS site, usually he responds on his own site, but plugging his c.d. was too big an opportunity to miss and he's crawled out of the woodwork to have a go at some who don't like him over there. He's got a good voice, a nasty attitude and personally, I wouldn't buy his stuff if it came with a free diamond
  23. Oh yes, it's him alright
  24. He's a right sarcastic sod. If he flops next week, it couldn't happen to a more deserving bloke. Wish I hadn't bought my mum his first album now
  25. Oh I just found it and boy don't I love it  You've just got to realise how much Wills success eats this women up and it does you know, otherwise she wouldn't even pass comment. Thousand of fans at arenas all over the UK love him. He was a massive hit in dear old bonnie Scotland last night (I bet that one really sticks in the craw. Most people wouldn't pull back their curtains if her bloke were playing across the street ;)
