  1. And who the hell is this Bang Magazine who Will was supposed to give this interview to and where it spread from? :(
  2. The release coincides with Mother's Day on the 18th March. Maybe that was the motive for delaying it for about 3 weeks past the normal 3 month gap. February 6th was always going to be a little too early anyway and so close to the break he normally takes at the beginning of the year. Also, if Will was taking 3 months off now, why wouldn't he have time to see the Nothern Lights by the end of March as he said in his interview?
  3. The solo male performance has already gone to Noel Gallagher (along with the Brit I would think) Will might turn up for the party, but that'll be about the extent of his invovement in the whole shebang.
  4. He usually takes about 6 weeks off at the beginning of the year doesn't he, but I think it's taking a bit of a risk to take so long out when he's till promoting Echoes and it means a likely 4 month gap between singles. Still, it's up to him, and it's no good us worrying if the album plummets, he obviously won't be. :D
  5. Looks like Will wants to take a 3 month break according to reports on twitter this morning. What a strange time to do that, mid album promotion. Is Baby still down this morning or is it me still having a problem?
  6. Is Baby down for anyone else tonight?

Ditto to everything said about the videos sunday, many, many thanks. As everyone else has said, Monday was truly a very special and magical night, Will at his very best. he rebounded from the disappointment of the Voice debacle just a few short days before, to prove he's at the very top of his game, utterly brilliant. :yahoo:

What a pity it didn't let Will know that until the very, very last minute. Instead of that. they obviously leaked the names of the prospective judges, their names were bandied about in the press for at least a month. Will is a clever man, he has one of the best management companies in the country, and do you think they were all completely out of their tree imagining Will had the role. Of course not. The BBC used Will's name, let him and X1X believe it was a done deal, and then dropped the bombshell less than 24 hrs before the final line up was announced. Of course Will is furious, what did he turn down in order to keep three months of his time available I wonder.

Oh come on, this is the BBC doing this, they're capable of importing any successful programme and turning it into a major flop. So You Think You Can Dance being a prime example. They've not got to worry about attracting huge advertisers to finance it, they've already spent the licence payers 20+ million and they'll just shrug it all off if it fails, just like they do the monstrous amounts of money they pay some of the stars they employ. OK, Christina and Adam's song was a huge hit. What happened to the eventual winner, how did their song do?

Hopefully we'll know one way or the other then :D

He's got to know by now surely, I mean, this is going to take up a couple of months of his working life and if another offer was to come along, a film or something, he wouldn't turn it down just on the off chance that he might get the Voice. It's the BBC's show and I suppose Will just has to go along with it and wait for the official announcement, but he's a busy guy and he's booking for a year in advance now with the acting parts he's going for, he won't have been waiting for months on end for this to be decided I'm sure.

Can we add another 'NO NO' to that list please. If you go off Will or his music, then do not come on here (or any other Will forum for that matter, cough, cough BabyD ;) ) promoting your next new favourite. :arrr: How bloody rude are people who do that.
  13. It does sort of beggar the question that is he's not going to promote Echoes abroad, what exactly will he be doing that prevents him taking any acting roles until late next year? :D Many thanks for this Sunday
  14. I rather got the feeling that there might be. He didn't laugh and dismiss it out of hand, or say " there were timing issues" as he did about a second series of Bedlam. I think he would have given a definite no had he not been asked or had other things planned that prevented him doing it.
  15. Wishing you all the very best chrysalis, look forward to seeing you back soon .

Will really needs a tv appearance to make any difference to the release next week. He's got Loose Women but whether that'll do much is anyone's guess. I know Will says he wants to promote Echoes well into next year, but quite honestly, unless he's taken the album abroad, I don't know how he's going to do that. Once again, he seems to have a problem with radio stations showing interest in the second single. I don't know what he can do to change that because Come On, like Grace, is a good song. I wonder what his plans for next year are if they've prevented him doing Bedlam or any other acting roles, 'cos I can't see much more happening here promotion wise, well not until the summer festivals anyway. ;)

I agree with everything you say, that voice of his is incredible, so much more powerful live than on c.d isn't it? Who gives a toss what he wears, (actually I quite liked it, the flasher's mac and his little mock striptease was funny) and I thought he looked incredibly sexy in those tight trousers and boots for the finale, the beret didn't distract at all for me. :D
  18. I don't think it even matters anymore and to be honest, a petition smacks of Will being needy and desperate for recognition, two things we know he's not. In some ways, I hope he never wins the Brit, it often seems like the kiss of death for a lot of careers. Will's doing just fine despite never having been best male, his 'Night With' is a far better accolade IMO. Editing to add, Ed Sheeran has got a guitar, BM is probably in the bag then, may have to fight it out with Noel Gallagher, he's got a guitar too, but whoever wins it, be sure, they'll be toting a guitar, it's cool you see.
  19. I wonder if it was the album version because they played Jealousy on Tuesday and that was the album version, not the radio edit.
  20. I thought either Take That or Robbie did both one year, I may be mistaken though. Anyway, there's a first for everything and maybe Will might get a slot on XFactor. It's 10 years since PI and Cowell, or the producers, might like to associate themselves with a still successful winner of one of these shows
  21. I would too, if I knew for sure it would be successful, but I have my doubts. I think he has his year planned out and it's all about Echoes, acting isn't even in the frame until the end of 2012 is it, and I have a feeling, if he was going to commit for 3 months, it would be another acting project rather than this. But, we shall see, he certainly gets mentioned a few times on forums as a possibility, which is nice to see. :D
  22. Is there? One's quite enough , do I know the others?
  23. On another site? ;) You've probably got it in one.
  24. No, not really, it's probably just me.
  25. I'm finding it very difficult sitting on my fingers 'cos it's getting right on my wick now. :arrr:
