24 | 37 | 4th week Justin Bieber YUKON Album track from SWAG Released: 11th July 2025 Label: ILH Production Co. Chart Statistics NE (24/07/2025) | 32-33-37-24 Sales: 30,000+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio xx Sales 69 Audio Streaming xx Video Streaming Video Biography There’s a moment in a 2020 interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe where Justin Bieber begins—quietly, hesitantly—to cry. “It was hard for me being that young and being in the industry, and not knowing where to turn, and everyone telling me they love me, and just turning their back on you in a second,” Bieber says, each clause kicking up memories like dust. The point isn’t to weep with or for him—he’s had more dreams come true in his first 25 years than most people manage in a lifetime. But he’s also one of the few pop stars of his generation to have truly grown up in public, weathering the cable newsification of celebrity culture in the internet era while still trying to develop as both an artist and a person. Even early on, you could tell he had his eye on the future, balancing a doe-eyed wholesomeness with earnest attempts at hip-hop and R&B, material that suited him as a kid with material that reflected his growth into adolescence and adulthood. Some teen-pop singers end up trapped in amber; Justin Bieber has, knocks and all, kept swimming. Born in London, Ontario, in 1994, Bieber was famously discovered when his future manager, Scooter Braun, stumbled on some performance videos that Bieber’s mom had uploaded to YouTube to share with family and friends. Braun, who understood not only Bieber’s appeal but the potential of the internet, encouraged him to keep making videos and keep the equipment cheap—an approach that not only helped Bieber’s growing fanbase to understand that he was still just a kid like them, but drafted a new blueprint for how artists could reach audiences in the digital era. With the exception of a voice change around 2011, 2009’s My World, 2010’s My World 2.0, and 2012’s Believe are more or less of a piece: the sound of a boy trying to stick the landing into puberty. Released in 2015, Purpose showed Bieber developing a more thoughtful connection to his material, including collaborations with vanguard pop producers like Diplo, Skrillex, and Benny Blanco. After a five-year break during which Bieber underwent significant personal changes—including a detox from touring life, a diagnosis of Lyme disease, and a epiphanic marriage to Hailey Baldwin—he came back with 2020’s Changes. “People have been putting me on a pedestal,” Bieber told Apple Music. "I didn’t ask for that. Obviously I love making music, but there are a lot of people that love making music and they’re not in the position that I’m in. I’m just trying to steward that wisely, steward my relationship wisely. I want people to take a look at my story—hopefully, my words can make a difference.” - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2010 11 One Time -1- 2010 71 Love Me -PS- 2010 62 One Less Lonely Girl -2- 2010 76 Favorite Girl -PS- 2010 03 Baby (feat. Kayleigh Rose Amstutz (born in 1998 in Willard, MO) began posting cover-song videos online in her teens, and after releasing her first EP, School Nights, in 2017, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her pop-star dreams. In early 2020 she connected with producer Dan Nigro, and that April she released “Pink Pony Club,” a torchy ballad about thriving at “a special place/where boys and girls can all be queens every single day.” Roan released a smattering of singles, including the writhing “My Kink Is Karma” and the yearning “Casual,” before putting out her first full-length, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, in September 2023. Roan’s unbridled, lusty pop songs became an online phenomenon—or, as she might put it, a “femininomenon”—and she hit the arena circuit when she opened for Olivia Rodrigo on the latter’s GUTS tour in early 2024. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2024 02 Good Luck, Babe! -NAS- MILLIONAIRE 2024 31 Red Wine Supernova -3- 2024 04 HOT TO GO! -4- MILLIONAIRE 2024 01 Pink Pony Club -1- MILLIONAIRE 2024 44 Casual -2- 2025 02 The Giver -NAS- 1 x #1 | 4 x Top 5 | 4 x Top 10 | 4 x Top 20 | 5 x Top 40 | 6 x Top 100 Social Media Chappell Roan

The latter was certainly the case with Manchester’s Oasis, who named the first song on their first album “Rock ’n’ Roll Star” as if their fate were preordained. Arriving in the midst of the peak alt-rock era, Oasis’ 1994 debut, Definitely Maybe, was a bird-flipping retort to the navel-gazing angst of grunge, rolling the melodicism of The Beatles, the swagger of T. Rex, the sneer of the Sex Pistols and the strobe-lit grooves of The Stone Roses into alternately sleazy (“Cigarettes & Alcohol”) and celebratory (“Live Forever”) pint-raising anthems. And it wasn’t just the group’s sound that harkened back to the glory days of British rock—in the simmering tension between the guitarist who wrote all the tunes (Noel Gallagher) and the singer who brought them to life (his braggadocious brother Liam), Oasis came pre-packaged with a sibling-rivalry soap opera to rival that of The Kinks. Definitely Maybe’s No. 1 debut on the UK charts turned Oasis into the ubiquitous bad boys of Britpop, an image they gleefully indulged through their tabloid-baiting pissing matches with London’s Blur, the art-school antithesis of the Gallaghers’ working-class laddism. But with 1995’s follow-up, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, Oasis shed the Union Jack trappings to become the only English band of the era to match their domestic success in the US, thanks to karaoke-ready sing-alongs like “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger”. With more than 20 million copies sold worldwide, Morning Glory effectively turned Oasis into an institution, one that would continue to sell out arenas for years to come (even after 1997’s infamously over-the-top Be Here Now signalled the end of Britpop’s pop-cultural dominance). The Gallaghers’ ever-fraught relationship would sink Oasis in 2009, but the enduring, cross-generational appeal of their most popular songs—with “Wonderwall” ranking among the most-streamed tracks of the ’90s—ensures a legacy that will live forever. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 1994 31 Supersonic -1- MILLIONAIRE 1994 11 Shakermaker -2- 1994 08 Live Forever -3- MILLIONAIRE 1994 07 Cigarettes & Alcohol -4- 1994 03 Whatever -NAS- MILLIONAIRE 1995 01 Some Might Say -1- MILLIONAIRE 1995 02 Roll With It -2- MILLIONAIRE 1995 02 Wonderwall -3- MILLION SELLER 1996 01 Don't Look Back In Anger -4- MILLION SELLER 1997 01 D'You Know What I Mean? -1- MILLIONAIRE 1997 02 Stand By Me -2- MILLIONAIRE 1998 01 All Around The World -3- 2000 01 Go Let It Out -1- 2000 04 Who Feels Love? -2- 2000 04 Sunday Morning Call -3- 2002 01 The Hindu Times -1- 2002 02 Stop Crying Your Heart Out -2- MILLIONAIRE 2002 02 Little By Little / She Is Love -3- 2003 03 Songbird -4- 2005 01 Lyla -1- 2005 01 The Importance Of Being Idle -2- 2005 02 Let There Be Love -3- 2007 10 Lord Don't Slow Me Down -NAS- 2008 03 The Shock Of The Lightning -1- 2008 12 I'm Outta Time -2- 2009 10 Falling Down -3- 2015 56 Half The World Away -B-SIDE- MILLIONAIRE 2020 80 Don't Stop... -NAS- 2025 17 Acquiesce -B-SIDE- 2025 31 Slide Away -PS- 8 x #1 | 19 x Top 5 | 23 x Top 10 | 26 x Top 20 | 28 x Top 40 | 30 x Top 100 Social Media Oasis

The Birmingham quartet may have risen from the British blues-rock boom of the late ‘60s, but their sledgehammer riffs and bulldozer rhythms exuded an apocalyptic aura that spawned a whole new kind of devil’s music. The doomy tritone riff that opens their 1970 self-titled debut pried open the crypt leading to rock’s netherworld, summoning the inimitable voice of Ozzy Osbourne, who traded the chest-puffing, girl-crazy machismo of the typical hard-rock frontman for the dread-ridden delivery that could only come from a working-class kid raised in a no-hope industrial town. Black Sabbath’s bleak outlook was ultimately a reflection of the world around them: The blistering title track to 1970’s Paranoid provided an unflinching admission of mental illness that was virtually unheard of in rock music at the time, while the immortal “War Pigs” was a more damning indictment of the Vietnam War than anything coming out of the hippie movement. But guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler packaged these dark thoughts in the sort of riffs that were so infectious, they practically qualify as pop earworms—the most tone-deaf hesher could blurt out “duhn-duhn DUH-NUH-NUH” and you’d instantly recognize it as the intro to eternal stoner anthem “Sweet Leaf.” After Ozzy’s substance-abuse issues forced his ousting in 1979, Sabbath recruited glass-shattering vocalist Ronnie James Dio for two albums (Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules) that anticipated both the fearsome velocity and theatrical flamboyance of ‘80s metal—and presaged decades of rotating members, reunion tours, and parallel line-ups. But in 2013, Ozzy teamed up with Iommi and Butler for their first album together in 35 years, 13, a chart-topping, Grammy-winning comeback that proved, for all their imitators and offshoots, there can be only one Black Sabbath to rule them all. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 1970 04 Paranoid -1*- MILLIONAIRE 1978 21 Never Say Die -1- 1978 33 Hard Road -2- 1980 22 Neon Knights -1- 1980 41 Die Young -2- 1981 46 Mob Rules -1- 1982 37 Turn Up The Night -2- 1989 62 Headless Cross -1- 1989 81 Devil And Daughter -2- 1990 79 Feels Good To Me -1- 1992 33 TV Crimes -1- 2025 47 War Pigs -AT- 2025 48 Iron Man -2*- 0 x #1 | 1 x Top 5 | 1 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 6 x Top 40 | 13 x Top 100 Social Media Black Sabbath --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 31 | | 1st week Oasis Slide Away Promotional single from Definitely Maybe Released: 29th August 1994 Label: Big Brother Recordings Chart Statistics NE (14/08/2025) | 31 Sales: 600,000+ Certification: Platinum Status: Standard Chart Ratio 09 Sales 45 Audio Streaming xx Video Streaming Video Biography Some groups spend years chasing stardom, and others seem to just instantly will it into existence.

35 | 36 | 4th week BLACKPINK JUMP 1st single from forthcoming studio album Released: 11th July 2025 Label: YG Entertainment Chart Statistics NE (24/07/2025) | 18-31-36-35 Sales: 40,000+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 07 Sales 37 Audio Streaming 05 Video Streaming Video Biography BLACKPINK, as their name suggests, revel in contrasts—tough and feminine, supercharged riffs and sugary vocal melodies, hard-edged beats and floating-on-air whistles. It’s a mix that has helped the foursome become one of K-pop’s biggest girl groups, storming their way through bangers like the glitchy “DDU-DU DDU-DU” and the scorching “Kill This Love” as well as collaborating with fellow pop A-listers Dua Lipa and Lady Gaga. Brought together in 2016 by K-pop powerhouse YG Entertainment, Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo became superstars almost instantly, standing apart from their peers because of their melding of hip-hop rhythms, electro-pop sizzle, and girl-power spirit, as well as their high-concept fashion sense. The quartet’s audacious, giddy music fuels dance-heavy concerts and made their 2019 appearance at Coachella—when they became the first K-pop girl group to play the festival—a joyous frenzy. While they celebrate contradictions in their music and style, BLACKPINK are united by a single mission: They want to lift up their audience as they take their artistry to unexpected places, helping listeners gain what Rosé called “confidence and energy” from their forward-thinking take on pop. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2018 78 DDU-DU DDU-DU -1- 2018 36 Kiss And Make Up (Dua Lipa & BLACKPINK) 2019 33 Kill This Love -1- 2020 17 Sour Candy (Lady Gaga & BLACKPINK) 2020 20 How You Like That -1- 2020 39 Ice Cream (BLACKPINK & Selena Gomez) -2- 2020 40 Lovesick Girls -3- 2020 62 Bet You Wanna (feat. 36 | 39 | 8th week Coldplay Sparks Album track from Parachutes Released: 10th July 2000 Label: Parlophone Records Chart Statistics NE (26/06/2025) | 40-43-48-44-46-41-39-36 Sales: 1,000,000+ Certification: Platinum Status: Standard Chart Ratio 94 Sales 72 Audio Streaming xx Video Streaming Video Biography Coldplay isn’t only one of the most popular English bands but also a torchbearer for an art-rock sound whose roots reach back through Radiohead, U2, Pink Floyd and The Beatles. Yes, the music is anthemic enough to fill arenas—“Clocks”, “Speed of Sound”, “Paradise”, “A Sky Full of Stars”—but detailed and atmospheric, too, stretching the conventions of modern rock without ever losing the emotional thread. Formed in London in the late ’90s, the band debuted with 2000’s Parachutes. Seasons have changed—the arty experiments of 2008’s Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends, the electro rush of 2011’s Mylo Xyloto, the eclecticism of 2019’s Everyday Life—but the core of its sound has been consistent: Propulsive, uplifting, grand but vulnerable. In step with the earnest spirit of its music, the band has also poured considerable resources into philanthropy: performing at Live 8, sponsoring Ocean Cleanup efforts, and notably investing in renewable energy to power 2021's Music of the Spheres World Tour. Whether in crowded bars, lonely bedrooms, closing out the London 2012 Summer Olympics, or headlining the Super Bowl 50 four years later, the effect is more or less the same: At the end of the day, Coldplay comes for the heart. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 1999 92 Brothers & Sisters -NAS- 2000 35 Shiver -1- 2000 04 Yellow -2- MILLIONAIRE 2000 10 Trouble -3- 2002 02 In My Place -1- 2002 10 The Scientist -2- MILLIONAIRE 2003 09 Clocks -3- MILLIONAIRE 2003 87 Remixes -EP- 2003 100 God Put A Smile On Your Face -4- 2005 02 Speed Of Sound -1- 2005 04 Fix You -2- MILLIONAIRE 2005 10 Talk -3- 2008 08 Violet Hill -1- 2008 54 Lost! -3- 2008 01 Viva La Vida -2- MILLIONAIRE 2009 28 Life In Technicolor II -4- 2010 88 A Message 2010 13 Christmas Lights -NAS- MILLIONAIRE 2011 06 Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall -1- 2011 01 Paradise -2- MILLION SELLER 2011 04 Princess Of China (Coldplay & Rihanna) -4- MILLIONAIRE 2011 22 Charlie Brown -3- 2013 12 Atlas -OST- 2014 10 Magic -1- 2014 48 Midnight -IG- 2014 09 A Sky Full Of Stars -2- MILLIONAIRE 2014 70 Another's Arms -AT- 2014 95 Miracles -OST- 2015 07 Adventure Of A Lifetime -1- MILLIONAIRE 2015 52 Everglow -4- 2016 06 Hymn For The Weekend -2- MILLIONAIRE 2016 71 Up&Up-3- 2017 02 Something Just Like This (The Chainsmokers & Coldplay) -1- MILLIONAIRE 2017 70 Hypnotised -PS- 2017 54 Miracles (Someone Special) (Coldplay & Big Sean) -2- 2019 27 Orphans -1- 2019 93 Champion Of The World -AT- 2019 94 Church -AT- 2021 12 Higher Power -1- 2021 03 My Universe (Coldplay & BTS) -2- 2021 24 Let Somebody Go (Coldplay & Selena Gomez) -3- 2024 16 feelslikeimfallinginlove -1- 2024 20 WE PRAY (Coldplay, Little Simz, Burna Boy, Elyanna & TINI) -2- 2024 43 ALL MY LOVE -3- 2025 36 Sparks -AT- MILLIONAIRE 2 x #1 | 9 x Top 5 | 19 x Top 10 | 24 x Top 20 | 30 x Top 40 | 45 x Top 100 Social Media Coldplay

In 2012, she passed an audition to become a K-pop trainee under YG Entertainment, and she moved to Seoul as a teenager. After four years of a famously rigorous K-pop training process that includes singing, dancing, and language lessons, ROSÉ debuted with BLACKPINK—alongside JISOO, JENNIE, and LISA—in 2016. The hard work paid off, with BLACKPINK shooting to global stardom. Their debut song “BOOMBAYAH” reached No. 1 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart, and was followed by other hits like "DDU-DU DDU-DU" and "Kill This Love.” In 2023, they became the first Korean act to headline Coachella. In 2021, ROSÉ released her debut single R, which included the breakup track “Gone” alongside “On the Ground.” The latter became the highest-charting song by a Korean female soloist on the Billboard Hot 100, and became the first song by a Korean soloist to top the Billboard Global 200. The song is a reminder of the importance of staying grounded in reality and being grateful for what you find there, even—and perhaps especially—when you’re one of the biggest K-pop artists in the world. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History ROSÉ 2021 43 On The Ground -1- 2024 02 APT. Missed the top 40 this week? Reneé Rapp Shy Album track from BITE ME Released: 1st August 2025 Label: Interscope Records Video Biography Pop singer Reneé Rapp exudes confidence, as demonstrated by her unfiltered interviews and willingness to unpack her most painful feelings for the sake of music. Born in 2000 in Huntersville, NC, she first rose to prominence via acting: a co-starring role on HBO’s The Sex Lives of College Girls and her portrayal of Regina George in the Broadway musical Mean Girls (and, later, the 2024 movie). In the wake of this success, Rapp signed a record deal and released her first EP, 2022’s Everything To Everyone, and a debut album, 2023’s Snow Angel. The latter features the Fleetwood Mac-esque pop-rocker “Talk Too Much”—her musing about a tendency toward ruining a relationship—and the brash, R&B-influenced revenge song “Tummy Hurts” with Coco Jones. A late-2023 collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, “Not My Fault,” embraces uptempo electro-disco vibes, proving Rapp is taking on the world, one sassy lyric at a time. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2024 61 Not My Fault (Reneé Rapp & Megan Thee Stallion) -OST- 2025 69 Leave Me Alone -1- 2025 xx Shy -AT- 0 x #1 | 0 x Top 5 | 0 x Top 10 | 0 x Top 20 | 0 x Top 40 | 2 x Top 100 Social Media Reneé Rapp

Missed the top 40 this week? Demi Lovato Fast 1st single from forthcoming studio album Released: 1st August 2025 Label: DLG Recordings Video Biography Demi Lovato rose to musical fame alongside the Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus, a new generation of Disney stars finding mainstream success on the pop charts. She forged her own path, though, thanks to powerhouse vocals, a balance of vulnerable ballads and club-ready bangers, and her advocacy for mental illness and addiction issues. Born in 1992 in Albuquerque and raised in Dallas by her mother, a former Cowboys cheerleader, Demetria Lovato hit it big with the 2008 movie Camp Rock and released her debut studio album, Don't Forget, the following year. That record was the first step on her ascension from teen star to global icon, a status she’d cement through hit singles, collaborations with artists like Christina Aguilera, Luis Fonsi and Timbaland, and a turn as a judge on The X Factor. Lovato’s discography has something for every playlist, like the warm-weather bop “Cool for the Summer”, the self-affirming anthem “Confident”, and the stunning heartbreaker “Anyone”, which she told Apple Music was, in retrospect, “a cry for help” about her struggles with substance abuse. Demi’s openness about her personal life and raw, honest songs like “Sober” made her even more beloved by fans worldwide, while 2020’s polished pop gem “I Love Me” and Sam Smith duet “I’m Ready” proved she’s a still-evolving star who continues to inspire and amaze. - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2008 33 This Is Me (Demi Lovato & Joe Jonas) -OST- 2009 35 La La Land -1- 2010 71 Wouldn't Change A Thing (feat. What are the chart rules regarding streaming? For streaming and chart rules related FAQs read the pinned thread regarding this. How many streams equals one download sale? 100 plays if you are on Spotify Premium, or 600 if you are using the ad-supported free tier. However you cannot simply play a song that many times in one day to give it one sale, you are limited to 10 plays per day in terms of what counts to the chart. The number changes to 200 or 1200 plays when a song moves to ACR. For more information on the rules of ACR see this thread. How much does streaming contribute to the chart? Streaming contributes over 90% to the singles chart as a whole. Spotify counts for at least half of this, with Apple Music and Amazon also big contributors. YouTube is also big however most of YouTube's streams are at the free tier so won't count for as much. Why is my fave not doing well? Is it being promoted on a major curated playlist, and/or going viral on TikTok? If it isn't, it's unlikely to really take off! Hot Hits UK is the biggest of these playlists on Spotify from a UK standpoint. The playlist usually updates itself to include breaking hits once or twice a week, though there is no guarantee that your fave will get a place on the playlist. Also, the UK Top 50 is a largely followed playlist and that songs often experience a 'top 50 effect', when they enter the top 50 and get the additional exposure of being on the playlist. Often sales hits don't cross over to being streaming hits, this is usually the case for songs with an older target audience, reality or campaign songs. Also keep in mind that it often takes longer for a song to take off on Spotify than it would on iTunes. My fave didn't debut high and is falling already, does this mean they're flopping? Not necessarily. Most songs debut relatively low as they aren't instantly well-known, and experience a sharp decline on Day 2 as they no longer have the promoted 'New Music Friday' effect. A lot of songs manage to recover through gaining popularity and additions to playlists. Exceptions to the rule of course come from massively hyped releases, such as the recent album impacts from Drake and Taylor Swift. Spotify How do I see today's Spotify chart? To see the daily top 50 update on desktop, log in to Spotify, click 'Browse', then click 'Charts', then click 'United Kingdom Top 50', or click the link below. For the full top 200, use the link below to go to Spotify's website. You can also use the Kworb website which displays the data in an easier to read format and also contains additional information, however this is often out of date. Spotify App [top 50] Spotify Website [top 200] Kworb [top 200 and extra data] What are the most influential Spotify playlists? Links to Spotify's top playlists are as below. Hot Hits UK UK Top 50 New Music Friday Today's Top Hits How often does the Spotify chart update? It should update once every day, usually in the early afternoon - although on occasion there will be a delay. What do the numbers mean? The streaming figures cited in the daily chart are the number of streams each song received the previous day. Unlike the iTunes chart, Spotify is not a rolling chart so the numbers will only change once per day. Apple Music How do I see today's Apple Music chart? You can use the link below to view the Apple Music top 200 through Kworb. If you have Apple Music, you can also view the top 200 by going to the Charts section and clicking on See All in the Top Songs section.
