Nobody's saying they couldn't get Taylor, she's played Capital events before! It's just that her attendance doesn't depend on how many weeks she spends at #1 on a chart that isn't official and means absolutely nothing to anyone who doesn't work for Global. They'd almost certainly have confirmed Taylor upfront to create maximum hype and attention for the event. Surprise artists they've had at Summertime or Jingle Bell Balls in recent years have included JLS, Sam Ryder, Shaboozey, Natasha Bedingfield and Kylie, none of whom are on Taylor's level (not to compare her and Kylie's success, it's just different, hers is much more UK-based)
