Fairly sure there's no backlog at this point and all the physicals were shipped? It's a couple of spots higher than Chemistry was at this point, so I don't expect it'll be anywhere near the top 40, but hopefully it can at least outchart Chemistry which was my hope for it really.

Her biggest hits have become huge classics though - 9 to 5 wasn't a top 40 hit but has sold over 2.4m chart units now, so her popularity is very much greater than the sum of her UK chart history's parts. (plus the bar for #1 next week will likely be quite low if Rein Me In goes to ACR)

Because the Radio 1 chart is the official chart, the Big Top 40 is not official.

Sami, please bear in mind that the Official Chart, as broadcast on BBC Radio 1, is what people are discussing across this entire section. The Big Top 40 is not discussed because it is not an official chart, and it is not recognised by the music industry.

Really sad news, she's an icon for all the right reasons, one of those people you never hear anyone say a bad word about. May she rest in peace

Rumoured for a while, I thought I'd make a thread for this as the previous articles would suggest this "tell-all" documentary is happening, and they're hoping Hannah will take part, particularly to discuss her departure following Paul's passing. Would you be interested in a "tell-all" S Club documentary, particularly now they're not managed by Simon Fuller?

One hit single, especially one that's a viral hit, doesn't guarantee a hit album though, as I mentioned earlier in the thread - there's many more examples of those who didn't manage a successful album off a viral hit than examples of those who did. The physicals aren't available widely yet either - HMV and Amazon don't have them for sale, they're only on the Warner Music Store, which can't exactly be helping.

Definitely not, it's quite common for artists who only have the one viral breakout hit. We've seen it already this year with Bella Kay, and in recent years with the likes of Ravyn Lenae, Gigi Perez and Shaboozey to name just a few. The interest is solely in the song, not in the artist behind it (so it's no wonder it's felt like fewer artists have truly broken through in recent times).

Bring it on, loving the regular bursts of episodes since the comeback!
