Is it really that big a deal? Some artists are happy to perform features (I was surprised when Troye Sivan performed supernatural, the Ariana song he featured on the remix of, on his tour - pleasantly so!) and some would rather stick to their own material, especially if they weren't actually part of the conception of the song (or it's intended as a duet and the duet partner isn't there).

And Tyla's CHANEL if you count her as a popstar (I'd argue it's more of a rapper thing than a popstar thing generally) Feels like ages since we last had new Ellie so I'm really excited to hear what she's coming back with!

Some pretty clear evidence to me that the Big Top 40 isn't especially factual, given Olivia Rodrigo's the cure is #1. It was only #1 for a short while on iTunes, hasn't been near #1 on Apple, and isn't playlisted by Capital so no airplay contribution (not to mention only coming out on Friday). Nobody can tell me they don't make at least some of this stuff up x
