Why I Like Enya.. By A New Fan! :o
Okay, so Buzz Jack Big Brother would have done what? Now its really starting to sound evil... Criminal intent? Or does this imply Gary is an Orwell fan? LOL, does Aldous Huxley have a forum here?

Why I Like Enya.. By A New Fan! :o
LOL, alright On Your Shore, let's go there. :heehee: I recall vividly the first time I heard 'OF' on the car radio while driving home in 1988. I've been hooked on The Sound ever since then. My Family too. Enya's music was a great comfort to enjoy while we raised our three children. So, essentially nearly 20 years. :) Best Wishes, Astro B)

Why I Like Enya.. By A New Fan! :o
Welcome Gary & everyone else that has recently discovered The Sound. B) I've been listening to Enya for... Let's not go there. It has been a long, long time. The cool thing about it is that it will never grow old. Each listen is something new and discovery is continual if you choose to persue more knowledge into the depth of The Music. Keep rockin' and don't forget to network. Best Wishes, Astro B) B)

Enya crossword puzzle
LOL, David! The Yellowbelly clue was a tough one to try to convey without being insulting or giving it away. I used the designation you find with the colors available for fonts on the forum to be cryptic about it. Also, you will find lyrics and their translations within the Discography. Good luck on the latest puzzle, folks, and another is in the works as we speak. :D Peace, Astro B)

Howdy David! :D This next one coming up should be less difficult. It does require some research in the Discography that is for sure! Here's a clue for those into research: Be sure to use Wikipedia in concerns to these. ;) Astro

Rate The Cover-Round 18 (Oiche Chiuin USA)
I can't help but give this one a solid 5. Out of all the covers, this one especially as well as the one from 'The Celts' are what I have found most folks I converse with think of when you mention Enya. It has a somewhat surreal and mystical quality to it, although I have never really considered those being traits of her. Just what folks assume it seems... As far as clutter? Well..., not really. I'm of the opinion that they were trying to convey a natural feel to it all, and what a better setting than in an old-style freeform garden? A very nice photo, and the expanded metallic finish version found on the 'HCIKFS' 12" single is a knock-out! If I were ever to frame one, that would be it. Very imaginative and appealing to the discerning eye. Then again, hey, that's just me. :coffee: Regards, Astro B)

Enya crossword puzzle
David, I was hoping someone would notice that! I'm happy to hear that folks are enjoying these creations of mine. I thought it would be a great way to occupy our time as we await the next release this coming holiday season and expand our knowledge of all things Enya. There will be more if you would like, and as a matter of fact, I've another one nearly completed that I will be posting soon at Unity along with the solution for the last one. Ya know, I was going to post these randomly, but by suggestion I'll be trying to conincide them with Track of the Week. LOL, I've got my work cut out for me. Things have been very hectic here, but I've been dropping in occasionally to see how things have been going here. I'm really impressed with the great job you folks have done with it all! Good job! Best Wishes For Your Continued Success, :jump: <- (What a cool selection of emoticons! :) Astro B)

Will Enya ever have another #1
Geez, I just pop in to see what's happening and now I'm posting twice! Very interesting topics and you folks are doing a great job. I voted "YES" and I'll say why. Enya has potential that hasn't been fully realized by the Listening Public. When 'Orinoco Flow' hit the airwaves it was nothing less than Musical Dynamite. Refreshing and a welcome change of pace... There is so much left they have to offer. All of this is dependent though upon the wishes of the Trio, and from an interview that can still be read at Book Of Days hosted by TreeCat from Unity fame, you will find that they aren't so much concerned about blockbuster hits on the charts with every release they make. They are more concerned with the Music itself, but that isn't to say if it happens it isn't welcome. More or less, it seems they put it out there, and in the long run, I think you will find that it is timeless and continues to sell no matter what. Longevity seems to be their goal in my opinion, and that they have certainly achieved. Best Wishes, Astro B)

Irish album chart placings
Feel The Fever, I have always been curious how Enya and other Irish Artists are viewed in the confines of their Native Country. Could you enlighten us as to how that is there? Thank you for responding if you do. Astro B)

Your fave Enya pics
Great pictures all around! Here is one of my favorites, possibly taken during the filming of the 'Wild Child' video perhaps? http://www.multinet.no/~jonarne/Hjemmesia/Favorittartister/enya/enya_9.jpg Dignified, Beautiful, and Poised... :)

What Enya song are you listening to right now?
Man, I so wish they would extend the end of 'OMWH' by another ten seconds or so! Meanwhile, thanks to On Your Shore, I'm now getting hung up on 'Ebudae'. What a tune that is! Ya know, when I first heard that piece I thought of Native American tribal drums... Amazing how one can interput the Music, no? Yo, Dreamer! Cool emoticons! Where are you finding them? May It Be, Astro B)

Sail away to the INC
Saddle up, Bro! We leave at 4 A.M. We'll have breakfeast in Silverthorne and refresh our coffees in Vail. :) Actually, there will be a bit more snow now on the mountains than what that picture shows. Fantastic countryside regardless! Curious as to what sights there are to see in everyone else's neck of the woods... Finished some paperwork (more yet to do) and spent the evening quietly with the Better Half and our littlest one. It's the simplest things that make Life enjoyable, no? Anyways, if anyone is interested, here is a site that shows a bit more of the surrounding hills... "14'ers & More..." To Go Beyond, Astro B)

LOL@Kelly!!! These emoticons crack me up... Busier than you would ever believe, but holding my own. :) Here's a picture of some of the country I'll get to see come Monday morning... http://14ers.com/photos/CapitolPeak/200407_Capitol04a.jpg That's Snowmass Mountain to the left (14,092') and Capitol Peak on the right (14,130'). Taking a bid on some linework up to Aspen and Carbondale. Sometimes I just  my job. Oh yeah, it'll be 'PTSWS' in the CD player... Peace, Astro B)

Enya 'The Celts' Album
Top notch release by our Artists of Choice; both times! :) It is true, and if your a real audiophile for the Sound, give each one a spin seperately and compare the two. Would like to know what others here think about the differences they may percieve... Enya at their very best! There are some interesting meanings to these songs. My particular favorite off this one is 'IWT' (I Want Tomorrow). Great electric guitar on that one... Another imaginative song from that period you won't see on either of these two works is 'Sphagetti Western' (SW), but was released on the 'Amarantine' single. If your discovering ENYA for the first time, be sure to check these two releases out if you can. 'ENYA' has been out of print for sometime, but it is available on the market from various sources. If you can't readily find it, try 'The Celts'. You won't be displeased, of that I'm sure... Peace, Astro B)

New Christmas EP released in the USA - October 10th
Have Faith, folks. Good things happen to good people, of which I'm sure you all are. Target is a huge retailer that is nationwide here in the States. I was there earlier today and inquired about when the Holiday Music will hit the shelves, but no one knew for sure when it would be. That means absolutely nothing, though, as if Aigle Studios says it will be available on October 10th, I accept that as fact. Of course, they are already preparing shelves and areas for Christmas stock. Kind of funny to see Halloween goodies the next aisle over from Christmas lights... If anything, since it will only be available from Target, and I've heard also Amazon.com, perhaps now is the time to begin networking with someone or else procure it from eBay. Just a suggestion... Astro B)

Enya 'Memory Of Trees' Album
Definately one of their very best! "Their"? Well, yeah... See, ENYA isn't just Enya the Lady, but also Nicky & Roma Ryan. Long story it is, and maybe we could all go into detail with it later. "On My Way Home", also referred to as 'OMWH', has been one of my all time favorites! Especially the ending to it. Something about the sound just captivates me to no end with it. It would be great if it were extended further, but why change a good thing? :D Hey, just me... 'OYHG' (Once You Had Gold) is another I dig listening to. There is just something about the vocals that really touch the soul with peace. May It Be, Astro B)

Introduce yourself
And what would the 3 Musketeers be without their 4th cohort? Astro punching the timeclock here as well! :) Good to see the response to the forum here and the participation so far. I'll drop in occasionally. Like Merlin from the days of King Arthur, I appear when I'm not wanted and don't appear when I'm wanted! LOL, so great to see word of the Music getting out and about! Peace, Astro B)

What Enya song are you listening to right now?
Relaxing at the moment just jammin' to "Wild Child". Relaxing; Yeah Right!!! :D This song is so incrediably righteous! I wonder if anyone here listens to "Flora's Secret" occasionally? If you haven't, you might want to take the time to rediscover it! Look out! "Amarantine" just came on! "Love's Lecture"... Now you've heard it; go live it! Peace, Astro B)

Congrats David!
Right on, David! A good job you did of it! :D Now, where to post... :) Peace, Astro B)
