  1. Oh trust me, they won't. It's been overplayed TO DEATH. Yeah, but to be fair, I Am Not A Human Being started as an EP of leftovers that ended up growing into an album. It was essentially a B-side collection to Tha Carter IV, so a number 1 peak is pretty good, all things considered. As for Rebirth... it deserved its fate. -_-

  3. IIRC Taylor Swift had about 4 or more top 10. But in terms of hip-hop albums, I think you're right. I can't remember any others with such massive debut weeks. Although, this IS Tha Carter IV, so it's to be expected. Not only that, How to Love is now at #17 AND #38! :o
  4. It kinda annoys me that Mirrors is so high. It's one of the most generic songs on the album, I just knew this would happen too because of the name. Blunt Blowin' to replace it.
  5. I hear it on the radio over here all the time, and it seems to be increasing. They're picking it up after the hype of RITD.
  6. Since this is most likely going to outpeak both of the other singles, they'd be crazy not to release it.
  7. FINALLY number one. Best top 10 in a LONG time.
  8. SLY held off of number one by... Foster the People? This is like a strange bizarro would where the entire top 10 is songs I've known and loved before they became popular over here. (except MLJ and How to Love, sorta. I knew both before they boosted into the top 10) FTP for a week at number 1 officially before Adele starts her inevitable 4 month or so reign.
  9. Maybe I'm biased 'cause it was Love On Top. GaGa was amazing, too. That performance was stellar.
  10. Good point. Overall performance went to him, vocal performance to Adele hands-down. Beyonce came close, though.

I finally got around to listening to this the entire way through, and I must say... Incredible. Why this is her worst performing era singles-wise is BEYOND me. Although actually, maybe not. This is a purely cohesive album. It reminds me of Kanye's MBDTF in that way, because while single tracks are great, they really make much sense in the context of each other. I may be rambling, but I'm just in shock at how good this album is. Even Run the World sounds great with the rest, and I DESPISED that song when it came out. On initial listen, I'd have to rate: 1. 1+1 2. Love On Top 3. Party 4. Countdown 5. I Care/End of Time
  12. Well that was disappointing...
  13. TYLER THE CREATOR WINS BEST NEW ARTIST! :yahoo:
  14. Performance of the night went to Chris Brown, IMO, but that's probably because I've already seen the BRITS performance of SLY, so it wasn't new.
  15. PLEASE. PLEEEEEEEEEASE. :yahoo:
  16. It is a bit surprising to me honestly, especially with videos like Man Down and Rude Boy. Like Blob said, though, I don't really care too much.
  17. So it took a good couple months, but one drunken night later, Government Hooker has finally clicked with me.
  18. Two years straight?? :o I never knew! Poor Rihanna...
  19. Side note - Feels or Feel? I'm seeing both.

I'm not sure if it'll do a million first week, but the sales will be pretty high. It might just be the most anticipated hip hop album of the year.
  21. This is my favorite top 10 in a long time! If Lighters ends up being replaced by Someone Like You, it'll be most likely the best top 10 of the year. Can't wait for the VMAs!

Cremey - love the sig! OT, Blunt Blowin, Nightmares of the Bottom, How to Hate, Mirrors, Abortion, and So Special are the standouts so far. Honestly a little disappointed with tracks like Megaman and President Carter, but it's still a great CD. Mr. Carter's home!
  23. You seem to forget about a little song by the name of Big Fat Bass. Also, just noticed your sig - LOVE that song!
