Bad Meets Evil Ft. Bruno Mars - Lighters//Hell: The Sequel
Fair enough. Still wish Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart was more played over here... Really? Make Her Say was all but a flop here. I wasn't aware Day N Nite got big over there either, was it the Crookers mix? I'd think that'd be more suited to the popular music of the time. Memories was a hit pretty much everywhere.

Bad Meets Evil Ft. Bruno Mars - Lighters//Hell: The Sequel
 I remember exactly when that was. Honestly, that summer was MUCH better in terms of hit music. I still love every single one of those, even Somebody to Love in a weird, guilty pleasure kind of way. Near the end of summer they even played Cudi for a bit with Erase Me. Honestly, though, I wouldn't mind a bit more Alicia on our radio.

It doesn't seem to have been. I meant as a single anyway, radio would LOVE this over here.

Bad Meets Evil Ft. Bruno Mars - Lighters//Hell: The Sequel
Yeah, I'm over in the US. The thing is, radio LOVES upbeat songs here. For example, this summer has had Party Rock Anthem, Rolling in the Deep, Last Friday Night, Give Me Everything, Good Life, Super Bass, I Wanna Go, and Lighters on repeat for MONTHS. Literally months. Other songs get decent play, but those have had the life hammered out of them. By the time summer is over, you CANNOT stand hearing them. They absolutely love anything moderately rhythmic, but you'll hear something like Jar of Hearts or Pumped Up Kicks once a week max. I still love all of those songs, but I can't listen to them until at least fall - except Super Bass, LOVE that song. Rap songs get the most overplayed. Rap is kind of like America's dance music in terms of overplayedness.

Love the video, really gone off on the song though. Radio has hammered it out over here, it's unlistenable for now at least.

Gotcha back, Slick. Seriously, though. Is this going to be released or what? It's damn good, it could shoot Yoü and I to #1.

 That song gets no where near enough credit over here.

MTV Video Music Awards 2011
   I'd advise all who haven't to watch the video, it's appalling. OT, Katy NEEDS to win Best Pop Video, and Female Video would be nice, too. Video of the year will go to either Adele or Beastie Boys, I'm afraid.

Love the chorus, but the song is pretty awful.

I actually love that remix! It managed to keep the feel of the original, which I NEVER thought would be possible with an upbeat remix. I'm impressed!

Trouble For Me? I can rock with that. :)

Strange. I expected this song to be at least top 3. So Girls Fall Like Dominos beat Moment 4 Life?? :o

US iTunes Top 100 [JUL-DEC 2011]
Thanks, I figured as much. Definitely would've been top 10 by now. So next week on the BBH100, the contenders for #1 seem to be: - Moves Like Jagger (very likely) - Last Friday Night (not likely, but a second week would be nice) - Party Rock Anthem (sort of likely, wouldn't mind a 7th week but I'd want the others more) - She Will (only if the stars align or something, would be a little annoyed as it's DEFINITELY not #1-debut material, much less Lil Wayne's second solo #1 material) Also, 197. Wobble - V.I.C. This is three years old, and I'm pretty sure it's its peak. Love that song, though.
- Fifth Single?

Can almost guarantee it'll be Hair. Wish it was Bloody Mary, though.

Frank Ocean 'Nostalgia, Ultra'
Saddened by the lack of responses as well. Starting to really get into OFWGKTA, especially Frank Ocean and Tyler, The Creator. Absolutely love Novacane and the rest of the mixtape. Favorite tracks are Strawberry Swing (about DAMN time someone covered/remixed this), Novacane, Swim Good, Lovecrimes, and Dust. One of my favorite mixtapes this year I'd say.
