This, but who knows. It's GaGa after all, that may have been her plan all along.

US iTunes Top 100 [JUL-DEC 2011]
So it is. May be on purpose, may not. Who knows. You make a good point about the Hot 100 top ten as well, Super Bass won't be out of the top 10 for at least three more weeks.

I haven't particularly enjoyed a GaGa video since Bad Romance to be honest, mainly due to their being dramatic, strange, and complete messes. This video, however, is my favorite since Bad Romance, because it has SOME kind of storyline that makes a bit of sense. Somebody above said that it would've made more sense if Jo was doing the frankenstein job, and I agree wholeheartedly. If she spent a bit more time with the piano in the cornfield, I would've really enjoyed it. I do love the song, so frankly I'm a bit annoyed by the overdramatizing of an obviously downtempo number that was begging for a simple video. However, compared to the other videos she's made as of late, it's a step in the right direction.

If Super Bass can make it back up, we'll have 3 Young Money artists top 10!

Hadn't occurred to me, but that would've been preferable. Personally, the reason I dislike the song is the lackluster verses combined with one of Rihanna's undeniably weakest choruses. Admittedly, the beat isn't bad at all, it slightly reminds me of Owl City in the beginning, but that chorus is just incredibly lacking. Rihanna is capable of bringing much more to a feature, see Run This Town and Live Your Life. At the same time, though, the verses are lacking as well. The first verse especially is one of the worst on the album, followed by the second verse where she begins by rhyming "in" with "in" three times. It just felt like she wasn't anywhere near her A-game on the song, and the fact that Rihanna just repeats her chorus with zero emotion drives the point home even harder. Both artists are capable of far better.

Right Thru Me is a great song, but rightly placed here. The rest of the album overshadows it.

US iTunes Top 100 [JUL-DEC 2011]
Honestly though, I do enjoy Katy's music close to the same amount as I enjoy MJ's music. I'd like to see her beat it (no pun intended) because she's truly the hottest thing out there right now, and 5 #1s, features or no features, show that. Besides, how many people are buying the TGIF remix off of Missy Elliott's name? It's all about Katy.

This is its position: 85. Lights - Ellie Goulding It did end up charting on the BBH100 this week, but with no Bassnectar credit to be seen. :( Oh well, at least Ellie gets an entry!

Whew, Last Chance didn't get far at all. Really don't like that song. Boring and the definition of filler, IMO.

David Guetta - Nothing But The Beat
Titanium>>>>>>I Can Only Imagine>Where Them Girls At>>>>>>>>>Little Bad Girl for me. I really do like ICOI.

What would you prefer?
I'd say if they REALLY want another single, go for Hummingbird Heartbeat, (why they're passing over The One That Got Away is beyond me) but the smart choice would be to just end the era. Even an EP/Re-release will seem tacky at this point. Just give her time to recharge and put out another stellar album a year or two down the line. I can wait if it means an album as good as this one.

Knew it would boost once something was up on the front page. Katy for #1 finally!!

Kanye/Jay-Z 'Watch the Throne'
I do like that last minute, but on a set like this it really does stand out as the least spectacular or memorable song. It never really stuck for me, whereas songs like Why I Love You and Niggas in Paris stuck close to immediately.

Yes, for the most part we are. It's getting a decent amount of cherrypicking, though. Maybe we're finally catching on!

Kind of expected but still... it's nowhere near the bottom of the album.

'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' • Fifth Single
It's barely top 200. I think it'll boost if iTunes puts some kind of banner or link on the home page by tomorrow. Otherwise it'll end up unknown except to her fans, like Best Thing I Never Had. 199. Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) [feat. Missy Elliott] - Katy Perry

Simple Plan 'Get Your Heart On!'
Loved When I'm Gone, enjoyed this single with Rivers, honestly can't stand anything else by them.

Trouble For Me, Beautiful, Inside Out OR Criminal
Inside Out for sure out of those three, but Criminal would be a close second. Up N Down is pretty awful IMHO, and Drop Dead Beautiful just wouldn't have the impact of the other two.
