  1. https://sync-tube.de/rooms/YC7kRv4xr The synctube link for those that need it.
  2. Just a quick post to say this is going ahead, despite the list not being posted up.
  3. The BoE boss on 32x minimum wage telling people not to ask for wage rises certainly seems like a bit of a 'f*** the workers' move. Wages have already been rising due to Labour shortages. The most annoying thing is a lot of this comes down to people not being able to save or grow their savings for the past 10 years because interest rates have been frozen for an unprecedented period of time. So increasing interest to fight it is a bit of a kick in the teeth to the millions who've worked their ass of for little reward for the last few years.
  4. Thanks a bunch. Worse things have happened at sea. As another point, I've just took a new job - my regular working pattern shouldn't interfere with these sessions, but should anyone be able to host these sessions if for any reason I become unavailable on a Sunday (it's likely to be an irregular thing if it happens, so it would be the odd session not every one) can you get in contact via PM.
  5. Ok so I've had a computer failure, I've got an old laptop lying about so will still be able to host the session on Sunday unless anything else happens. However i have lost the notepad document that had the carry-overs on - I vaguely remember it being Those Were The Days and With A Little Help From My Friends as the last ones but just wanna double check as I we didn't get through all of the list upthread so can't use that?
  6. Boris must have some serious f***ing fort on Nadine Dorries. Accusing the MPs submitting letters as being 'a handful of egos' what unlike the basket full of egos' in cabinet
  7. Aye it's a bit weird isn't it. I think people would soon work out if the count was drastically under.
  8. I know this is probably going to have been made before the recent government houses, but it does really seem like a bit of a response to the latest government announcements regarding the funding settlement. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p0bhx...this-is-our-bbc
  9. Is that 12 public letters then? Assuming the same again have gone private were still nowhere near the 54 threshold
  10. Do yourself a favour and go look up his old clips of him talking on clip shows, interviews with people around him, comedy clips from when he was alive, john lydon's BBC ban etc. His activities were known by most politicians, most TV professionals and most royal family members, as well as much of the press. And he himself clearly knew how untouchable he was, due to who else was involved in similar things that he was. I'm no David Icke subscriber but he was very much the public face and catch all for something spreading far wider around the upper echelons of British society.
  11. Given the mental health treatment they're so clearly in dire need of?
  12. But it's Amess's seat so most serious parties aren't standing out of respect. TTurnout could be horrendous - Tory activists saying reaction worse in 25 years on doorstep
  13. Oh so we're pretending classic who doesn't exist again...
  14. He's totally not agreeing to do this because his business just went up in flames, it's totally because a cookbook competition is different to a cookery competition. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-59773808
  15. That video is god awful.
  16. https://sync-tube.de/rooms/ei5iapqlN This weeks Synctube link.

  18. That's impressive given the song is walking the precarious line between nostalgic and dated. Sounds it like it came out in 2014/15
  19. I made the playlists before I decided to include double A sdes/full EPs. Normally slot them in bit see above post, slipped my mind
  20. Appears to be so. Been a bit of a hectic week on my end so haven't got round to typing up the list - please be aware these timings aren't exact so we might get through a few more / less - I'm going to carry on the last weeks thing of ending as close to 7 as possible and rolling over any leftover tracks to the next session as it seemed better than going on much longer. The playlist for the session is here - with Beatles - Day Tripper / We Can Work It Out to play at the beginning to add to the beginning.
  21. The problem is that these sanctions hit genuine jobseekers who are new to the system and the vulnerable. Scroungers know exactly how to keep their benefits and comply with the rules, after all that's their full time job!! I wouldn't be surprised if the reports been blocked because it shows most sanctioned are short term claimants
  22. And how on earth will changing rules for people who've been on benefits for less than a month solve the issue of obvious scroungers who've been on benefit for 5 years? Applying for jobs I'm not qualified for is a waste of my time and the employers. Especially when the person actually interviewing you isn't making the decisions regarding who gets interviewed. I've had a number if interviews recebtly where I've run into that issue.

Released from custody after two days. He could have killed somebody ffs. Not normally one to carp on about soft sentences but.
