  1. It would help if they'd tried to write anything as commercially orientated since Day and Age
  2. Yeah sorry, I've just got in - here's the SyncTube https://sync-tube.de/rooms/EsFTZf7eyP I'll post up in advance if I ever need to cancel for any reason :) 1962 - 1966
  3. Presumably a rule to discount tracks that have been on previous albums was being discussed in the OCC offices this morning. I think we'll see the tactic used more if not
  4. Worst PM approval ratings since Major's black Wednesday. To put that into context we've had Blair's lying to parliament/cash for honours / Browns recession rough patch / Cameron cutting everything / Mays Brexit f*** up all since then.
  5. I meant Mad at Me, as in without Silkys inane rap there's a dance banger in there
  6. Christ - anyone else reminded of Clive?
  7. I listened to that the other day and felt there was a song I liked in there somewhere but it wasn't that one.
  8. Tories up to their old tricks. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-60068612
  9. Let's cash in on them before they fade into obscurity. It not getting a Friday release suggests the label know it's shit.
  10. Because he wants to be seen as Tory lite, be won't
  11. It'd be fine if it actually went somewhere like it suggests it does but with it not doing so it's a mess.
  12. Sounds absolutely shite.
  13. Whatever next a Shaggy comeback?
  14. There's about a 3rd of people who are probably true blue Tories, so knocking the Tories 3% below that is quite impressive.

Traditionally the difference is an album is an official release by the artist whereas a mixtape is an official release by fans (in the cassette, CD days) I'm not sure where we went to artists calling official releases mixtapes

Think the issue might be Britbox here - quite a few anoamtooms aren't there. I'd imagine ITV only want animations San tioned tajt Britbox will have the right to as Doctor Who is one of their biggest pulls iirc.
  17. Football references more likely.
  18. That Wilkinson track is decent.
  19. The first election was relatively close. He should have gone after losing it though. Corbyn wasn't perfect but after 5 years it's fairly obvious he'd have been better than the alternatives.
  20. As always a big thanks to those who joined this afternoon. Pat yourselves on the backs, the reward for sitting through the first 6 hours and 138 songs so far is that we've pretty much finished the pre-rock and roll era now, and the pop boom of the mid-late 60s mean there's a hell of a lot more timeless classics on next weeks list. There's also only 2 double A-Sides - which his helpful for me - I've added them to the - which can be found here for anyone who can't make next week or will miss part of it. Basically we moving on from most of your grandparents music to most of your parents music - I'm guessing  Again thanks to everyone who joined, and especially Danuary for providing the chart runs for the songs throughout.
