Is it as good as We Get By? Edit: Just listened to it, it's better than We Get By which is frankly unbelievable. Hope he gets #1

  4. That's impressive given the song is walking the precarious line between nostalgic and dated. Sounds it like it came out in 2014/15
  5. I made the playlists before I decided to include double A sdes/full EPs. Normally slot them in bit see above post, slipped my mind
  6. Appears to be so. Been a bit of a hectic week on my end so haven't got round to typing up the list - please be aware these timings aren't exact so we might get through a few more / less - I'm going to carry on the last weeks thing of ending as close to 7 as possible and rolling over any leftover tracks to the next session as it seemed better than going on much longer. The playlist for the session is here - with Beatles - Day Tripper / We Can Work It Out to play at the beginning to add to the beginning.
  7. The problem is that these sanctions hit genuine jobseekers who are new to the system and the vulnerable. Scroungers know exactly how to keep their benefits and comply with the rules, after all that's their full time job!! I wouldn't be surprised if the reports been blocked because it shows most sanctioned are short term claimants
  8. And how on earth will changing rules for people who've been on benefits for less than a month solve the issue of obvious scroungers who've been on benefit for 5 years? Applying for jobs I'm not qualified for is a waste of my time and the employers. Especially when the person actually interviewing you isn't making the decisions regarding who gets interviewed. I've had a number if interviews recebtly where I've run into that issue.
  9. Sorry, that'll teach me to skim posts for the names of songs
  10. Are Belters Only a new act or a pseudonymous one like that dance act I've forgotten the name of last year that did the Nelly Furtado rework? It sounds too shit to be Billen Ted though.

Released from custody after two days. He could have killed somebody ffs. Not normally one to carp on about soft sentences but.
  12. Who the hell ranked this below Body?
  13. Surely not. JRM lying? 😮
  14. Dump all the post-Covid problems on Labour and then come back with a vengeance in 4-5 years? Literally straight out the Tory playbook - see the 70s. There's literally no other sane reason to call an election.
  15. This government really are scumbags. Bashing benefits claimants now. Most people claiming universal credit will be taking any job going just to get off the horrendous system anyway so sanctioning them for not doing so is just rhetoric. Yet another policy come up with by people with no experience if the system. Especially as these sanctions could come in before the first payment leading to serious consequences And as pointed out by the opposition,.forcing people to take jobs they aren't suitably skilled for is just going to lead to them losing them and creating cyclical unemployment.
  16. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-60140704 Simon Fuller is running another attempt at creating something on par with the spice girls by latching onto a platform that's spurned manufactured groups for decades.
  17. Andrew going for a high risk strategy of demanding a jury trial!!!
  18. 7.30 with a break and then 8.30!!! You must have stop watching cos you were missing nearly half the episodes 🤣
