I hope if it keeps going up like this it'll at least make the top 100 on Sunday. I know it's not doing half as well as it deserves, but that really is down to lack of promo (TV wise anyway, they've done a lot of radio/magazine stuff, but TV still is the most important I think...)

oh, and forgot to mention there were a bunch of signed physical CD's of Set My World On Fire (released today) which'll contribute to chart position - again, it won't let me do links but just search Townsend records, set my world on fire 205 is the highest I've seen since release week - it seems to have been going up steadily by about 100 a day (but the last few days it's been stuck in the 200's) still though all good!

Well the album's pretty high in all the pre-order charts - 2nd in play (the top for albums coming out next week) There is more promo coming, (They're on Lorraine next week and there's an album launch gig on the Friday) but I agree it hasn't been great and nothing compared with what it was like when Join With Us came out.. I hope it does well, from the live stuff I've heard over the last year it sounds fantastic (lovely to see the songs progress from the first time of hearing most of them last May - it has been a long time coming!) so really does deserve to do well *Fingers crossed* for it!

well you could always buy it?....... available from iTunes, amazon etc.. If you like the song you should support the artist :) x

Searched Every Corner isn't being missed off the album! it's track 6 1. Set My World On Fire 2. Dance For The Lights - The Feeling, Roisin Murphy 3. Another Soldier 4. Leave Me Out Of It - The Feeling, Sophie Ellis-Bextor 5. Build A Home 6. Searched Every Corner 7. A Hundred Sinners (Come and Get It) 8. Mr Grin 9. Say No 10. Back Where I Came From 11. Another Life 12. Love And Care 13. Undeniable / Hardest Stone And The Freemasons are credited on the whole album as producing it, I think they worked on SMWOF aswell. as for Physical singles, I think it may be coming out 13th June, but that's just a rumor, nothing official. it's 137 now, which is actually the highest I've seen it so far :) but yeah, still not great... needs more promo! I'm doing my best!

Thanks Liam :) it went up to 138 at one point earlier, but still it's a lot better than yesterday, just keep spreading the word! I hear rumor there may be word on a physical release in the next few days so that could push it up a bit, and I know loads of people are buying it from amazon because it's cheaper - I did. now, to get back to Isaac about finishing that video............ :P

hmm it is a shame they haven't had the promotion for it at all, but a lot of that is down to the on air/on sale thing I think. also a lot of it is down to what the record company decide to do.. I do keep tweeting about it on twitter to try and raise awareness, you're welcome to join me - just tweet #setmyworldonfire have managed to get a few people to RT such as Russell Tovey and Peter Dickson, and a few people have tweeted me back saying they saw them RT and have brought it, so making some progress! Re: the video, I'm not sure it's even finished yet, I know the director a little bit... hope he gets it done soon, the photo's from the shoot looked awesome! Anyhoo, what do people think of the final mix? I'm loving it, had it on a loop all day :) and did you all buy the B-side Seven Years? I'm still a bit gutted it didn't make the record I think it sounds amazing! (might be a silly question, but where are you getting 331 from? I don't know where to look to find those listings) x

Hmm I tend to agree - love the album as a whole, but I'd have said Dial My Number or Revolution would make great singles. Starlight is a brilliant song, but I think there's others that work better as singles.

You won't be hearing it on radio until it's released (well, they've done a few live performances) because of the new on air/on sale rule... Amazon have a pre-order up (download only) (it won't let me post the link until I have 20 posts on here, sorry!) with Seven Years as the B-Side! (you may have heard it if you went to any shows in the summer last year). Also the date on amazon says 29th April, but it still says 2nd May on TF's official site.. Can't wait til it's out, and hope it does really well, it deserves to :) The album, Together We Were Made should be following on June 20th - having heard most of it I can say that it sounds amazing and easily rivals Twelve Stops And Home :)
