The Fire got much better reviews than Letters, and showed his songwriting is improving. I hope this continues with the 3rd album :) It's out Oct 28th, you can pre-order here

Great to see the album still in the top 100. It should have sold about 5k this week I think.

He'll be singing on Loose Women on the 4th Jan which should help too :)

I can't stop listening to it! :D So much better than RFYL. It's getting its first play on Radio 2 on Graham Norton's show tomorrow from 10am. Matt's going to LA next week to shoot the video.

I don't think he'll get an XF slot. But if he can get Radio 2 support again and some good TV slots and keep promoting up until Xmas it could sell a decent amount.

Matt's been working with a lot of writers signed to Universal Music. It's possible he's already got another deal. He's also going to the BAFTA's next week! :)

I was really happy when he signed with Columbia but after they made him release RFYL I started to have my doubts about them. He said in an interview that Letters was overproduced and he wanted more control over the next album. I hope he can find a label who believe in him more :)
