  1. lol. nice try, but if you look over the posts over the last week, the decision was made about this song...before it was released!
  2. lol, so many small minded bitter reactions...it's just a song folks, calm down
  3. I am thinking it will either be WYDWM or NDAI
  4. Polydor has said that there will be a 5th Single off "Voyage" in early January, no other info though
  5. I am sort of "Meh" with ALWFCIY this year, it came on before and I automatically switched it off..and it's only Dec 9
  6. Dancing Queen can be thrown into the mix quite easily

ABBAs Album seems to be holding up well everywhere to my surprise, even just replaced Adele at number 1 in Germany. It will probably be one of the bigger music gifts over Xmas and I think will have strong sales over the next few weeks. I will go out on limb and say it will hold off Ed until 2022
  8. Being a charity song (all proceeds to Unicef) and being ABBA, "Little Things" could do okay, but it also needed a good Video to go with it. IMHO the Video is just plain awful and will be of no help to the song
  9. Congrats on "Voyage" passing 1 million units sold world wide, not bad for four seps after a 40 yer break :)
  10. 112K? Wasn't that ABBA on day 1 also?

I just tried to pre-order "Little Things" and the pre-order has sold out. Maybe they should be releasing it Dec 10, not Dec 3 going by that
  12. I wish this thread would stay on topic, but because no one else seems to care, I will go off topic too...Normally if pre order sales are not released, it means (in this case Sony) those figures are not as good as hoped or are so over the top that it is going to cause shockwaves and best to release the stunning figures on Day 1 which would only generate even bigger sales in it's first week. I also think the expectations of 30 are no where near as high as they were for 25 after the incredible success of 21. I think it will open with a bang on pre order sales, settle for a day or two and then close with a bang as the songs make there way through streaming services (providing the songs are up to scratch of course)....I am going to go out on a limb, but don't be shocked if the Album borders on Diamond status before the week is out.... Now back to ABBA, just spoke to a friend who is high up in Universal Australia and he said as of midnight last night (Australian time) Voyage had surpassed Ed Sheehans Album for first week sales in the UK. He said it was based on pre order and around 14 hours of Sales in the UK. He also said what was expected in world wide sales in it's first week has already been exceeded. Make what you want from that He also said something interesting and it goes along the lines of the "Core" ABBA fans straddle both sides of the fence, they have embraced streaming along with the younger generation, but the old school in them wants that phsyical copy as well, hence the extraordinary sales they are seeing....so there you go, we will find out in a few days
  13. LOL, I am not saying I am old, but I remember when ABBA had that many songs in top 40 in Australia, including 1,2 4 and 7, in the same week and we had to actually get off our bums and go to the Record shop and buy them ROTFPMSL..so nothing has changed for them, just the delivery :P
  14. I can't stop listening to Keep an eye on Dan and When you danced with me, they are both so full of energy that you forget these 4 people on all in there 70's!
  15. ABBA have thrown in a few easter eggs as well (I suspect Benny) The last Chords to "Keep an Eye on Dan" is "SOS" He did hint in and interview that to the older fans there may be a few surprises that you may gather the threads
  16. Is this even relevant to this Thread?
  17. Agree Totally. I was more then pleasantly surprised by the Album. I actually think "When you Danced with me" may end up being the most popular song on the Album
  18. Him ABBA ABBA Adele Adele
