Funny I do as well, but when I press Enter in the address bar I see the image. (Possibly something to do with server settings not allowing hotlinking.)

How accurate is chartstats.com?
Hi For the Dooleys, I have the Music Week scan which doesn't have them listed at all on 03/06/78. For #60 it has The Isley Brothers - Take Me To The Next Phase The Record Mirror scan I have for this week has the note "Due to Bank Holiday weekend, the British Singles have been repeated from last week." Therefore it looks like Music Week managed to get hold of the chart, rather than reprinting the previous week? ---- Generally the credits I have on the site come from the OCC files, so if they're odd then the original files are wrong. From my time with ChartsPlus I know that the credits can be wrong/missing/incomplete etc. I can amend those mentioned above, as they seem to be considered correct. For the Drake entry I decided on Various Artists after seeing the cover on Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Lights-300x300.jpg and the description "Fourteen artists lent their voices as background vocals to the song: Alicia Keys, John Legend, The-Dream, Drake, Fergie, Kid Cudi, Elton John, Ryan Leslie, Charlie Wilson, Tony Williams, Elly Jackson, Alvin Fields, Ken Lewis, and Rihanna, who also sang the song's hook and is labeled as a featured artist on the single version." Thanks. Colin

Random 2007 No.1's fact
I keep a little graph with the average sales for #1 songs. Interesting that so far this year we're above the total for last year. I guess the chart changes re downloads have had some impact, albeit small? http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c204/polyhex/averageNo1.gif

Chart Question
The Chris Cornell song is available on iTunes. Oddly enough it's not going to be on the soundtrack either.

Remi Nicole: Fed Up Upbeat, summery pop with a distinctly English flavour. A&R interest has seriously kicked off in recent weeks and it is justified. (demo, unsigned) Eric Prydz: Proper Education Playlisted seven weeks upfront on Radio 1 and equalling the record held by Coldplay, Prydz latest hit samples Pink Floyd's Another Brick In the Wall to glorious effect. (single, January 1 - Data) Peter Conway: I Won't Get Used To These Chains A unique talent and fairly recent addition to the Courtyard management stable, Conway pens music that treads a line between Springsteen and Waits. Heart warming stuff! (demo, unsigned) Secret Show: Lovers Funeral For A Friend frontman Matt Davies take a break from his main band to front this brilliant, country-tinged affair. (single, Jan 29 - Atlantic) Clap Your Hands Say Yeah - Untitled So fresh it doesn't even have a title yet! CYHSY return with an album that affirms their talents, even if the debut failed to live up to commercial expectations. Could follow Fallout Boy and Panic! to breakthrough success in 2007. (single, Nov 27 - Fallout/Island) MSTRKRFT: The Looks Their remix of Metric's Monster hospital was one of the years finest achievements and with the arrival of MSTRKRFT's debut long player they're set to affirm their own tune crafting ability. The Twang: Either Way The words 'Stone Roses' and 'Happy Mondays' are following this band around like a fly to you know what, and while not entirely unfounded, they have more to offer. (demo) U2: Window In The Skies One of two new songs on U2's new singles collection, this track delivers on the winning formula, and then some. (from album, November 20 - Mercury) The Beatles: Love You know all the songs but, thanks to some ambitious production from George and Giles Martin, here are The Beatles like you've never heard them before. (album, November 20 - Apple/Parlophone) Lily Allen: Littlest Things Very rarely do videos play such a potentially large role in taking someone's career to the next level. In this case, it looks to do just that. (single, Dec 11 - Regal) Say Anything: Alive With The Glory Of Love Say Anything is the brainchild of artist and musician, Max Bemis and frequent UK visits have laid the foundation for a breakthrough in 2007. (single, tbc - Greensleeves) :)

UK Chart Commentary from James Masterton 05/11/06
Possibly, but compare it with the early to mid 90's and you can see that Dance music did fade away quite a lot, to be replaced with Britpop, and then the likes of Travis etc

Tom Waits: Long Way Home Norah Jones covered it, but Tom Waits' glorious original is resurrected as a download-only single to preview a new triple album of rarities and new recordings. (download single, Oct 30 - Anti) Vanessa Hudgens: Come Back to Me The 17-years-old star of High School Musical emerges with a uptempo, pop hit that should establish her as a star in her own right. (single EP, October 23 - Angel) Jay-Z: Show Me What You Got First single from Jay Z's forthcoming album Kingdom Come was quickly snapped up after it was leaked online last week. (single, December 4 - Mercury) Justin Timberlake: My Love The more we hear the track the bigger it gets! A brilliant second single from Timberlake and the closest he's come yet to topping Cry Me A River. (single, November 13 - RCA) Fish Go Deep feat. Tracey K: The Cure & The Cause A standout, vocal house track that has been enjoying a strong club play and looks set to cross over. Will provide a refreshing addition to mainstream radio playlists. (single, Nov 27 - Equator Music) Emily Haines: Doctor Blind The solo album from Metric's frontwoman is a stripped back affair that will delight critics. Currently without a home in the UK, Doctor Blind is a strong introduction. (unsigned) The Soft Lightes: Heart Made Of Sound Another choice signing from the indie label, The Soft Lightes are an LA four-piece fond of a good melody and not afraid of tweaking their electronic instrumentation! (7" single, November 26 - Modular) Cold War Kids: We Used to Vacation A favourite to emerge from SxSW this year and now signed to V2, lead track from CWK's new EP is a classy affair that hints at the strength of the tracks on their debut album. (from EP, November 27 - V2) Mistys Big Adventure: Fashion Parade feat. Noddy Holder A quirky indie-pop song accompanied by one of the funniest music videos we've seen in quite some time. Pokes fun at a slew of UK talent. (single, November 13 - Sunday Best) Madeline Peyroux: I'm All Right A poignantly named single considering Peyroux was considered missing at one point last year! Jokes aside, this is a great track that affirms her talents. (single, October 23 - UCJ)
