The album needed 'finishing touches' before the tour last year. It's been 13 years in the making. They have had plenty of time to organise and they've booked every major festival multiple times - they have the money. Theyre probably (again) waiting for festival season. Would be better if it was out before so they could play some new stuff. I reckon they will wait til September and chuck the other singles on a deluxe.

Ready, Steady, Go has to be a single surely. Not a huge fan of American Girls. But I think RSG is an obvious choice. Not sure what else at this point.

Yeah the roll out was a strange choice. The singles are the weakest tracks and 'Friends' eating video budget despite not being on the album was a weird one.

I was so disappointed with Little Mix megamix. It was so disjointed and messy. Jade is correct this is the blueprint.

Perries success stunned me. She left it the best part of a year between singles then just dropped the album. I guess it shows the loyalty of the core fan base and their willingness to pay for a multitude of formats for no real good reason. Its not a true measure of success considering how short the chart atay is BUT and the biggest but - the girls remain booked. They do not need to sit on the charts or hit the top 20. They are the third best selling girl group of all time without scratching the surface of the American market. They are in a very Melanie C position where they can truly do it for the love of the game and still charge tens of thousands for gigsb/ festivals. For Leigh expecially, who has far less people to distribute that money to, it's great.

The streams are abysmal. I kind of love that physicals matter again. Her live performances are so good. She should def do some YouTube live bits as a last push for the tour.

Streaming has kinda destroyed charts. I was looking at Louis Tomlinsons chart and he would have dropped from 1 to 33 if it wasn't for compilations and the fact they absorb the singles streams

Hopefully she is planning to release a couple more after the album to build some interest

I thought it was crystal clear shr meant in that moment when talking about a lack of support considering she said that 2017 to 2019 was the best time and post the other girl wanting to leave she checked and stopped caring. It makes total sense with the amount they were doing that they would be over her mood (not acknowledging the depths of it) they all came back rested and ready for the final hurdle and she came back disconnected and miserable.

I really dont think Hilary Duff is a concern in the UK. Is Peaches even?

Its honestly embarrassing how all in people go with Jesy. None of us know the full ins and outs. Probably largely people who shared disgust at what she shared in Odd One Out. At the end of the day it is a JOB. Not a calling. If they were all in it solely for the love on music they would be content as pub singers and wouldn't bother with all the brand deals they took. At rhe end of day when it came to the fan facing stuff (as in the only bit thats anyones business) she delivered. Down to the very last performance. She doesnt owe any of us a justification for her professional choices.

Oof Ocean Terminal in Edinburgh is a choice. Half demolished semi abandoned shopping mall nowhere near the city centre.

I am kind of over this roll out. Like...how can you be ready to tour, release 3 singles with music videos then bounce for 8 months when you have had 12 years to record and master? Its not like they have no money to fund it. They've played every festival going.

I dunno. I think it will be closer to 'Odd One Out' in that rather than being 'her side of the story' it will be more of an insight to showing what her mindset was when ahe left and why. Because so far nobody has gone into much detail. Like to look at their final performance together - the professionals that they are, they killed it. Then she was gone. It will probably look at what led up to that point, the final straw, some clarity on what happened aeohnd the Sweet Melody shoot etc
