Doing this as we're about to enter March because Why not My big initial predictions were Sam Smith & Raye getting a #1 single and album when their respective albums dropped Sam Smith - Got a #1 Album with Gloria, but their highest charting Single that week was at #23 RAYE - Escapism reached #1 but on M21CB's release week she was stuck at #2 on both charts :( new predictions 26th of 2 -A trans/nonbinary popstar will get their highest charting top 20 hit (I would've been right w Miley Cyrus but I think another will do it too, potentially Lil Uzi Vert or less likely Kim Petras or hopefully some1 better) -RAYE will get 2 more top 20 singles -There will be 3 Dance #1's this year -at least 2 of Aitch, Central Cee & KSI will get their 1st #1 single this year -Rina Sawayama represents UK for Eurovision and wins and gets her first lead hit single -More than 1 decades old song hits a new peak this year -LadBaby won't get the XMas #1, either by not releasing or just charting below #1, and hopefully a song that hasn't reached #1 reaches it in December, either a XMas song that isn't Wham/MC or a new campaign song, honestly might be the Kunts if they can play their cards right gonna add more later

As a trans person outside the UK its depressing how much the press focuses on making life harder for us, any1 with the slightest respect for trans people can clearly see that trans prisoners should get to choose where they stay and that a GRC doesn't endanger cis people at all, it just gives us a little bit of dignity, and they're more worried about the chance that we might endanger cis people, when we are the 1s in danger and cis people who do the same or worse harm still get trusted in being treated as the gender they are I know all of that has been said countless times and it just exhausts me how cis people have been running in a hamster wheel of surface level ignorant fearmongering and debates amongst themselves for years now without learning anything, and they're treated more seriously than trans people who have to live with cis people thinking they're more rational and victimised while being the opposite, and the only way to win is just trying not to engage with it at all to save your energy, and that'sn't even a guarantee if 1 terf finds a tweet of yours I'm happy to see Nicola Sturgeon, a cis woman with power, stand up for trans rights, and it sucks she or any politician with a spine get endlessly berated for it, I hope that the tides turn, it has to, I don't know when, but I hope at the very least trans acceptance becomes normal of politicians soon, and later on expected

Are we doing it by singing ability or by how much we like them overall, also is it just singers or are credited producers allowed

RAYE getting blocked from #1 on both charts is a bummer but #2 is still great, hope M21CB can rise though

I hope RAYE gets a #1 album either as a debut or further down, also happy if Shania lands the #1

Ooh what a week it's been, think LadBaby still has it, while that sucks, it'll at least be interesting to see the record for most Christmas #1's broken, especially from a YouTube channel that only gets around 100K views a video, that'll be a strange part of Chart history and I'm oddly glad to experience it here. While Wham & Mariah Carey are great and should've got the XMas #1 years ago, they already reached #1 and it's more exciting to see new songs compete for #1 whether they were recent releases or campaigns I hope the Kunts actually reach #1 at some point they're great, f*** the T*ries is the first song from them that I like as a song itself, I'm happy they're putting more creativity into it this time I haven't listened to the Sidemen track yet but excited that other, bigger YouTubers are campaigning for a #1, also the amount of times KSI just missed #1 is baffling even if I don't know or care much about him as a YouTuber or Musician much I quite like the idea of getting Stop and Headlines as Xmas #1's to get Spice Girls to a tied record 5 Xmas #1's and all 11 of their singles to #1 I think that would be fun

From what I see on Wikipedia, LadBaby's only singles are the Sausage Roll charity singles for Christmas #1, all of which have succeeded at doing so. I'm wondering what other artists have only released #1 singles I have 2 artists that I think of off the top of my head: Spice Girls almost did this with 9/11 of their singles going #1, Stop reached #2, and Headlines at #11 3 of a Kind went 1/1 with their only single and song, Babycakes, debuting at #1 Let me know if you think you know others!

Not completely sure but I think maybe spots higher up should be worth more and lose more when getting wrong, like getting #9-10 swapped should have less penalty than getting #3-4 swapped, I think there should also be a bonus for getting the top n spots correct since someone could not guess the #1 album and have just 5 points less than some guessing the entire top 5, there might be better solutions or they might not be problems at all due to some logistics I haven't thought about but that's what I came up with Edit: I think both of these could be addressed by having the correct positions at the top for singles and albums be worth 12 or 15 or something points, and after a incorrect position, each correct position is worth the standard 10 Thanks for hosting these though, they're a lot of fun to do and I appreciate the work you put into these
