Wilkes' toddler son Mickey - who counts Robbie as his godfather - also joined in on the trip to Century City Mall on Santa Monica Boulevard. Robbie's relationship with actress Ayda is said to have endured a rocky patch earlier this year, but the pair looked positively smitten as they strolled hand-in-hand. The singer is finally gearing up to release a new album in next year, according to his manager Tim Clark. He had gone on strike at the start of the year due to his unhappiness with the new owners of his record company EMI. However, Clark confirmed to that Williams' hiatus is now over: 'I would certainly hope that a new album will be coming next year. There are never any guarantees but that's what we would hope.' He says Robbie is busy writing new material: 'I was with Robbie last week. He was at home and he was writing songs and he played some of them to us.
