forgive me if this has been posted but the latest ep of the Switched on Pop podcast is an hour long one on Gaga and it really engrossed me and got me to think back over her career. I haven't rly been into her for a while but it reignited my interest in both her back catalogue and Perfect Illusion, which had been growing on me slightly but has been stuck in my head since listening to this earlier. anyway if y'all are interested you can listen to it here - it's a rly good listen every ep if you like pop music, and no this isn't an ad goodbye

Pon de Replay > We Found Love > SOS > Only Girl (In The World) > Diamonds > Work > Russian Roulette > Umbrella I didn't really want to vote for the second poll question but as it forced me to I went with 'Russian Roulette' just because it was the least successful of these, but I really think it was the right choice - it introduced a very different mood and persona to someone who had gone supernova with her last album, and it really set the tone for her career to come. 'Umbrella' is the only one I would ever skip and I am a bit over it atm but I think it may just be a phase because it still is a world beater of a song, and obviously integral to her whole career. I don't think I'll ever get over what an absolute jam Pon de Replay is :wub:
