  1. I was brought up on The Stones by my Daddy, heard all their albums only really got one album myself and that's 'Sticky Fingers' I still ADORE 'Dead Flowers', I want the Greatest Hits if I have enough money left this weekend I'll get it, I like their songs and it will bring back some good memories of listening to them with my Dad :)

Altho he played 'Satifaction' to death! He did when it first came out but I got 40 Licks for him ages ago and that just started it right back up again, he's got all the orignals on vynal(can't spell lol) and his turn table packed up ages ago (actually it didn't I pinched the speakers but we've just never got round to replacing them lol).

  2. True, but that doesn't take away from the damage that's done to themselves or to any kids concerned when it all goes t*ts up does it...? And seeing as how in many cases divorces happen because one partner is unfaithful, it just seems like the whole "lovey, dovey happiness" angle is just one big fat lie anyway, or at the least, kinda transient....

I'm just saying nothing's perfect.... Frankly, I dont have much respect for the institution of marriage tbh - arranged or otherwise.... -_-

Everyone knows that nothing is perfect and nothing lasts forever, I just think most people get so carried away in the moment and want to show how much they mean to eachother (I know there's other ways you can show your love) so hey lets get married, it's not something that most couples regret my mum and dad don't (they got a divorce when I was 5), he wouldn't have his kids that he worked hard for as a singel parent with no help from my mum.

  3. The worst ones are probably the guys in suits, the "city slickers".... UGH, they hack me off.... <_< I've got a blind mate, and he got fed up as well with the way they acted towards him, know what he did.... He just started using his stick around very aggressively to MAKE the buggers make room for him.....  Ooooh, the carnage......

 Can't say I blame him I would have done the same, nice and hard! :D Prams are good too you can run over peoples feet lol...

  4. That's mainly the commuters Clare, set of rude-ass muthafukkas almost to a man or woman... I just got fed up of even trying to be polite on these fukks on the buses and tubes, and give as good as I get.....

But it's not just the English :)

Anyway I'm English and love me so up yours you Scottish bugger :P :P I'm only joking before you have a go :)

  5. Have you even tried speaking to them in English though...? That's the question, if you dont even try then I dunno tbh...

And I aint on a hate mission against the English as such, I just seem to find that the most ignorant people in this country of ours DO tend to BE the English, the English are much more unwilling to accept other cultures than the Scots, Irish or Welsh are, that's just a fact and it's always been that way, sorry if you dont like it.. There is a very big Indian and Pakistani community in my city of Dundee, and you know what, both communities actually DO get along pretty damn well with each other, there are nowhere near as many divisions as there is here down south. I grew up with Asian kids, I went to school with Asian kids... When the BNP came up to Scotland, they got kicked out sharpish, whereas a few too many of your countrymen seem to welcome these racist b/astards with open arms.....

Scott of course I have, I try to be nice and polite with everyone I meet here. My boss is great tho if someone talks to him in his language he'll respond in English if he's infront of me, I do find it rude when they go off in their language when they can speak really good English. Some of these people I find really ignorent but you get that from anyone in any country. I couldn't live in London like you, that place is full of ignorent people, I went to London not long ago got on the tube and people was just in such a hurry to get on they was banging into Annie in her pushchair WELL that pissed me off and had a go at some people for it. I don't mind when it's really busy and they cram in and bang into me but my little Annie in a pushchair?!

  6. That first part is about as convincing as a typical Cockney Cabbie saying "I;m not racist but....". Sorry Clare, but to confuse the Indian Hindus with Pakistani or Bangladeshi MUSLIMS is pretty ignorant on your part.... No offence, but if you're actually working with these people then you should really try to understand who they are, as I have.... And so what if they talk to each other in their own language, you trying to tell me you wouldn't do the same thing if you were working in India or Pakistan and had a few English co-workers to chat to....?

If I didn't say it I would be accused of being racist by yourself, no one can ever win with you can they? You are a grumpy bast*rd you are Scott, it's like you're on a hate misson for the English! No matter what I say now you won't agree with, you'll bring other rubbish into the topic and confuse it.

I can't speak their language so yes I'd have to! I don't find it that bad here to be honest but when you're out and about and hear it makes you wonder what they're saying.

I never said I was an expert.

I've got their albums, and a singed copy of 'A List' when I seen them in York.

Loved like a rose think that was favourite track, but loved CITM even more.

Not being racist but if they don't like it they can fukk off! If they want everything to like home they bloody well go back there. I also find it rude when I'm the company of Indian's (I'm every day) and they go off in their own language, and hate the vails too that souldn't be allowed, we can't wear hoodies or biker helmets.
  9. I think you are generalising a bit there Rob, for example nightclubs, I detest the places but they are extremely hot and sweaty places and then there is like dancing and so on which is a very tiring heat inducing activity so it is natural that clubbers particularly female are going to wear as little as they can get away with, not because it is slutty but because it is so bloody hot in the club and on the dancefloor. You can't expect girls in clubs to be wearing 2 piece trouser suits and so on

I don't think that's true TBH, coming from Blackpool you see all sorts, when I go out to Clubs I wear trousers with what ever and I make a fool out of myself by dancing, I get hot that don't mean I'm going to strip down to my knickers and go out wearing next to nothing next time. People dress how they want to dress, I don't care I don't want attention but some of these women do and they do want to look as cheap and slaggy as posible.

  10. Langham wins early jail release

Actor Chris Langham is to be freed from jail after his 10-month prison sentence for downloading child pornography was reduced by the Court of Appeal.

The Bafta award-winner was jailed at Maidstone Crown Court in September after he was convicted on 15 counts of downloading images of children.

Langham was expected to be freed from Elmley Prison, Kent, on Wednesday after the sentence was cut by four months.

At his trial the 58-year-old actor had denied all the charges.

He claimed he viewed the images as research for a paedophile character.

The father-of-five, from Golford, near Cranbrook, Kent, had been due for release early in the New Year, when he would have served about half his sentence.

    'Not a paedophile'

The comedy actor is well known for his starring role in the television drama The Thick Of It.

At his trial, he admitted viewing the images but said he was not a paedophile.

He said he was preparing for a role in the TV series Help and trying to make sense of the sexual abuse he suffered as a child.

The jury cleared Langham of having sex with an under-age girl.

Langham was arrested in November 2005 when video files of child abuse were found on a computer, a laptop and an external hard disk drive at his home.

His appeal was allowed by Lord Justice Gage, Mr Justice Openshaw and Dame Heather Steel.

An earlier written application for permission to appeal against the sentence was rejected in October.

  11. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

    my favourite non fictional program,

simon is better, mark was a t***

does everyone remember when preston walked off, LOL

Rob and I was trying to work out who walked the other night, totaly forgot it was him lol.

  12. DNA would just prove that intercourse took place that is not enough on its own to secure a conviction, most rape trials result in the accused being acquitted as it is notoriously hard to prove that consent did not take place

But wasn't he nowhere near her though when the rape took place?

  13. Not trivial at all mate, you claimed no abuses were being made, I just pointed out a flaw in your whole arguement... I could point out PLENTY of others mate.... Like footage of couples shagging in cars ending up on the internet..... You want more examples....?

And you would seriously be comfortable in a changing room with a camera watching you would you...? Spoken like a true bloke, well maybe you like to swing your dick around mate, but we aint all like you.... :P You think women should have to take the chance that the person watching them change isn't some kind of perv who's w/anking off while watching them change???? Uhhh, NO!!!!! Retail stores up and down the country will close down through lack of business if you start putting up cams in changing rooms cos no sod'll want to shop in them if they think some pervy git might be ogling them through a camera.....

He's just has his job interview today lol.

  14. Why in Scotland particularly....?

Stats and proportions wise, there's far less crime in Scotland and Wales than in England... True, you get "black spots" like Paisley, certain areas of Glasgow, Dundee and Edinburgh, but generally speaking....

Oh I was going off size not the fact that you're all drunks lol. They just tend to put more in big citys.

  15. I've never argued against CCTV in stations, airports, public transport, car parks, etc... My objection is to it being everywhere you bloody look....

I didn't say you did Scott, I read the thread!

I can see 2 just outside my window and I'm only in Pride Park, but tbh it's just one big view of cars. I can see the problems more down south or in Scottland not here really.

  16. I can see where Scott is coming from on this one actually, on the whole of the matter where will it stop? And young stupid people who set themselves up by filming themselves on their phones commiting crimes. But I do think it's needed on dark roads, car parks, stations etc. I don't have a problem with them being there, they don't bother me at all.
  17. I'd be more scared seing a 60-Year Old Santa dressed in a big red suit, chanting "HA HA HA HA HA" whilst the little kid is on his lap. :kink:  But then, HO isn't exactly the best words to be teaching to a kid.

Actually no Santa can sit a child on their lap anymore in England.
