    How can ANYTHING come before HACKNEY LOL

     

    Prounouncing a name really aint all that difficult, just look at it in terms of syllables and structure, or else ask the person if they can shorten it. There's a guy I know at work called Abaduzzaman, but he calls himself "Abad", you know, like David/Dave or Johnathan/John.....? You'll actually find that these folks you work with will likely be incredibly polite and accommodating when you get to know them, I have honestly never had any problems when working with immigrants or ethnic minority people, all the slagging I ever got came from my supposed "own people".. <_< who used to call me a "freak" or a "f*****" because I had long hair and wore "weird clothes"...

     

     

    Most of them can be, there is some here that have very high religious beliefs and you can have a laugh and a joke with but other ones come from a background that haven't been tought 'please' or 'thank you' because they say it's just there part of their religion.

    Clare, I've often considered leaving this country, but not because of the majority of law-abiding, tax-paying immigrants, more because of how I despise the way the present Labour and previous Conservative Govts have completely destroyed this country, and the fact that we are so far up America's arse and are now the target for every two-bit nutter with a grudge, that I'd rather live in France or Germany and be a true European than live here in this fukkin' mean-spirited backwater....

     

    We are going down the pan we have been for years, we won't get better we will get worse.

     

    This country has everything wrong it's like they don't know where to start, we are run by fukking idiots! Instead of taking charge of a matter and starting where it counts they start at the end. The biggest one of all is the justice system.

    Clare, please tell me you do realise the irony of that statement..... Would you seriously wand to become one of these pathetic ex-pat English people residing in places like Marbella, drinking in some fakey, plastic English "theme" pub and not bothering to learn the lingo, like all these insufferably arrogant w/ankers... "They all talk foreign dont they...??" And people complain about immigrants here "not integrating". Well, frankly, all the Asian and African people that I've met speak a very good standard of English, and all are bi-lingual, some even speak a THIRD language (usually French...). Most people from this country seem to struggle with English from my experiences of the local, home-grown chavs and other assorted vermin living around my area....

     

    I dont care about "Britain" or "Engerrrrlaaaaaannndddd", it's a virtually meaningless concept anyway, the facts are that the "Engish" and "Celtic" genepools have become so bast*rdised over the many hundreds of years, that neither of them can be considered truly "indigenous".. I used to call myself Scots/Irish or "Celtic", before I actually found out the "Celts" really originated in the Teutonic countries, so what does that really make me.....? You "English" are all a mixture of Romany Gypsy, Roman, German, French and god knows what else.... Did you know the term "Caucasian" actually comes from the Caucasus mountains - in EASTERN Europe.....

     

    This has been proven time and time again in various documentaries and genetic research. On one documentary in particular I will NEVER forget the look on this couple's face who were so insistent that they were "pure Anglo Saxon" and then found out that genetically they were more TURKISH and ROMANY...... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Oh, how I pissed myself... Idiots.....

     

    I was at work in a rush, had someone else to deal with, fukking mad today I wanna go home it's doing my head in it's not stopped all day..

     

    Scott honey I work with them for a living, their accents are too strong to understand for me, I have names down in books that I can't pronounce for god sake. We have more Asians on our books than English people!

     

    I know where I come from I have told you, My gradad is Irish so yes there is some of that in me but my dad's side is all English.

     

    I seen that programme wasn't something like 'How English are you?' or 'So you think you're English?'

    So you want to become an IMMIGRANT yourself while at the same time slagging off immigrants ? :lol:

    Who would want to live here seeing the way it's going? My home town has changed so much in the space of a year and half that's scary! There just isn't room for anyone anymore, why do you think people are packing up and going? I'd rather live somewhere better than this now, crime rate is lower there, less over run..less people like you (I hope)...

     

    I thought being a 'successful businessman' and all you'd set your sights higher, it's younger with both cases with you tho innit...

    That's a good point you bring up... Every time this issue is discussed it always seems to be in relation to Asian or African immigrants, NEVER immigrants from the US, Canada or Australia... Last time I was in Edinburgh, the place was absolutely FULL of Aussies and Kiwis, yet no one ever seems to mention that..... Funny innit....?

     

     

    I liked how Australia recovered after having near enough the same problem but now they don't hardly let anyone into the country unless they have something to offer. That's how we should be.

    That's pretty much the same way I felt tbh... I did quite enjoy the first series if I'm being honest, but when it got to the stage of doing the stage shows and that really sh!t film "Guesthouse Paradiso", well, the jig was up really, Rik and Ade were just regurgitating the same old thing over and over. They should've had the sense to knock it on the head like Ben Elton did with "Young Ones" and "Filthy, Rich and Catflap" and leave us wanting more instead of just going over the same tired formula again and again... But it was pretty clear that Rik and Ade just liked the money too much.... -_-

     

    I never liked 'Filthy Rich and Catflap', it just never got me...

    I dont think this album is as good as Within Temptation's most recent one tbh, and there are some songs where Anette sounds so weak and Marco's vocals just overpower her... I really dont see the point in just replacing Tarja with someone who just aint as good and just sounds like a Sharon/Liv Kristine/Amy Lee (delete as appropriate) wannabe; Nightwish should have gone down a different path, if they really wanted to draw a line under the Tarja era completely then they should have Marco do all the vocals instead. For me, the male vocals work better on this album than the female vocals.... Musically, it's fine, but stuff like "Eva" is clearly trying to ape stuff like Within Temptation or Leaves Eyes....

     

    I loved his voice when him and Tarja used to sing together on songs, I agree it should have been all him..
