As much as I love his voice on this ep I do hope this isn't a long term direction, catering to a very niche market.

Recorded live with the jazz band he played with during a residency at the 606 club in London, he takes his time on The Buzzcocks Ever Fallen In Love, building it slowly, while The Beatles I'm Only Sleeping is shot through with jauntiness. As a whole it's not all that summery, but the EP is wonderfully luxuriant. " OUR VERDICT 8/10
