Will's response to Sun saying he's been dropped.
https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/15492...lbum-with-them/ @TheSun an article on me being dropped/dumped. If only 'journalists' would get facts checked. Silly people- I'm looking at legality of your @TheSun ....legality of your wording. FYI- I'm renegotiating deals and Island are still very much in the mix. Silly silly people So glad he's done this.

Leona as Grizabella in Cats
The reviews largely view her singing in a positive light but are very critical of her acting and stage presence. This role will be very much viewed as a celebrity casting and being such she will have to really impress to garner praise. http://www.nwemail.co.uk/news/national/art...4f34ec0138c2-ds

Great review from the Henley Standard. Will shows he’s still every bit a pop idol Published 18/07/16 WILL Young provided an evening of comedic value on top of his vocal talents. The singer, who first shot to fame winning Pop Idol in 2002, interspersed his set with a string of stories and anecdotes that had people rolling in the aisles. He opened with the upbeat Joy and Love Revolution while encouraging the crowd to jump around as much as he was on stage. Sections of the audience obliged until he smoothly transitioned to a gentle and precise rendition of his Doors cover Light My Fire. After this Young explained his family background in Henley. His storytelling was effortless, charming and genuinely funny — though it helps when the anecdote involves jumping in a puddle to ruin someone’s dress at Henley Royal Regatta. He finished the first portion of his set with his last number one single, Leave Right Now, released in 2003. It was soulful, with Young performing a version that had the crowd waving their arms in appreciation — showing that he is still every bit the pop idol. After a rousing round of applause the band returned to the stage for an encore, followed by Young himself riding a mobility scooter bedecked in flashing lights. Equipped with its own microphone and keyboard, it somehow suited Young’s rousing performance of Davie Bowie’s Let’s Dance, which transitioned into his own Your Game. Partway through, he downed a pint of Brakspear — as he had earlier promised to do. Though not quite the speed of a university student, it was an impressive feat. He rounded off his set with a rendition of Jealousy followed by an acoustic version of his first number one, Evergreen. It was as enjoyable when Young edged out Gareth Gates in the telephone vote as the nation sat glued to their screens. You would think 14 years in the industry would wear out the vocal cords, but Young’s performance was absolutely top notch. The key might be downing a pint of Brakspear to keep those vocal cords lubricated, but you’d have to ask Young to confirm that! Review: Connor McLoughlin- Lawson - Perspective
It's such a struggle for any artist once radio shuns them. Even harder for bands like Lawson who aren't properly established.- EP - Summer Covers - Release date 26TH august

Well worth the long journey to Kew. How does Will just manage to keep getting better and better? Such a high energy performance, with a few new moves I hadn't seen before and of course it goes without saying he was pitch perfect throughout. The bass was way too loud for the support acts but thankfully Will had done his homework in his soundcheck and it was just right for Will. The dance area filled up once Billy Ocean took to the stage. He does have some very enthusiastic fans, some who could have done with their own private dance floor. Great appreciation for Will too who fed off the audience and seemed to enjoy every second he was on stage. I do think coming on later helps the atmosphere. There's nothing better than listening to Will once it becomes dark. Only one more gig left for me. What a fab summer tour it has been. :13:- EP - Summer Covers - Release date 26TH august

Brilliant night in the perfect setting. Will commented that the band thought it was the most beautiful location they had played in. Will was on top form and the large crowd were very appreciative. They love good live music up here in the north east. Lots of guys of all ages near where we stood singing along and enjoying every minute. Got talking to a woman on the metro on the way home. It was her first time seeing Will and she couldn't believe how good he was. She described his singing as flawless and loved his banter. The guy from the Lighthouse family was very good too. All in all one of my favourite outdoor gigs. :yahoo: - Henley Festival July 7th
