So look as if we know the first cover.- Will Young
BBC Radio Berkshire 11th July- Mouth of the Tyne Festival July 8th
Brilliant night in the perfect setting. Will commented that the band thought it was the most beautiful location they had played in. Will was on top form and the large crowd were very appreciative. They love good live music up here in the north east. Lots of guys of all ages near where we stood singing along and enjoying every minute. Got talking to a woman on the metro on the way home. It was her first time seeing Will and she couldn't believe how good he was. She described his singing as flawless and loved his banter. The guy from the Lighthouse family was very good too. All in all one of my favourite outdoor gigs. :yahoo: - Henley Festival July 7th
Will must be made up to take to the stage with Jose Feliciano. Where it all began... And from earlier.- Scarborough gig 30th June
Some great pics here too.- Will Young

More people with taste. Pity the masses missed out on Will's set.- Avalon Stage Glastonbury
Will Young: Glastonbury's finest voice I mean, when discussing this year's Glastonbury line-up people have discussed Adele having pipes as crystal as a winter's morning, but those people clearly have never seen Will Young. As we all witnessed yesterday on the Avalon Stage, the guy still has one of the best voices in British pop. Strangely seen as a kind of contrarian character in the reality TV world - a man who famously turned his back on that world - watching Will Young crooning, dressed in a pink dress inspires a unusual sense of defiance and pride in the 21st century alternative music fan. But the feeling is largely its a feeling of "oh shit, this is actually a great song", and it's always satisying hearing a perfect voice gliding wonderfully through tight tunes. My night was totally made when Will Young took his clothes off !!!! #Glasto2016 #Glastonbury #willyoung pic.twitter.com/mP9Jw2pcT1 — Victoria Brown (@Vickis_Beauty) June 25, 2016 'Leave Right Now' is pretty much f***ing stunning. So easy on the ears. Objectively lovely to listen to. I hope it doesn't align with his views in the referendum. Don't believe that he's ace? Then just watch a bit of this Cyndi Lauper cover from the weekend. https://twitter.com/Supajam/status/747143547938209792- Avalon Stage Glastonbury
More brilliant tweets, all the more special as these aren't from diehard fans. Must mean gig. Finally a tweet from Will.- Newmarket Racecourse 24th June
Great review despite a couple of inaccuracies. Will Young at Newmarket Tranquil Soul 26th June 2016 The rain finally held off and we were under starters orders! Will Young bounced onto the stage of Newmarket Nights kicking giant balloons into the crowd and opening his set with the songs “Joy” & the catchy beat stomping “Love Revolution“, from his latest album “80% Proof”. Supported by a tight 5 piece band and two soulful backing vocalists, with whom he was obviously having a ball, Will was clearly enjoying every moment of this performance; dancing endlessly around the stage, posing and playing to the crowd in his own very individual style. He can certainly deliver the goods, both visually and vocally; from upbeat dance to a soulful ballad, tha Tranquil Soul 26th June 2016 The rain finally held off and we were under starters orders! He can certainly deliver the goods, both visually and vocally; from upbeat dance to a soulful ballad, that had everyone singing along. A brief interlude to chat to his audience, which included details about his costume being secured by a safety pin, as it was bit big and the fact that we’re not going to mention the referendum! Then it was back to business and into his back catalogue, with old favourites including; “Light My Fire“, “Evergreen” and “Leave Right Now“. Wrapping up the night up with an encore that included a tribute to David Bowie, he returned to the stage driving a silver glitter mobility scooter, to the unmistakable beat of “Let’s Dance“, the crowd erupted. Although one man apparently didn’t think the use of said mobility scooter as a stage prop was appropriate and felt this should be noted by the press! Will’s fan club however, who occupied most of the front row in front of the stage and who had traveled from as far away as Scotland, Manchester and West London, together with the rest of the audience did not seem to share this opinion and embraced it for the sheer entertainment it was. Make no mistake Will Young is a showman. His energy, permanent smile, dancing and sheer joy of performing is infectious; you can’t help but like him, even down to the Robin tattooed on his arm (apparently Will’s a keen ornithologist who recently appeared on Springwatch!). Will’s come a long way since winning the 2002 inaugural series of the British music contest Pop Idol, carving a career on both stage and screen and he is certainly an act worth seeing. http://www.grapevinelive.co.uk/2016/06/26/...g-at-newmarket/- Avalon Stage Glastonbury
Thanks for bringing over a sample of the tweets munchkin. What a joy they were to read. :cheer: : From the Sun. 'Will Young was far from pants during his set on the Avalon Stage - even though he sang in them. Arriving in a red and white stripped dress, he told the crowd: 'if you remain as wonderful as you are, I will remove the dress at the end and throw it into the audience'. He kept to his word, whipping if off later to give the cheering crowd an eyeful of his extra tight Y-fronts. His hour-long set was one of the highlights of the weekend, including tributes to David Bowie and Prince as well as his own classics such as Leave Right Now and Light My Fire.- Avalon Stage Glastonbury

There's also interviews with the biggest stars including Tom Odell and Andy Burrows plus Suggs drops by after he steps off the Pyramid Stage after performing with Madness. The guys from Turin Brakes drop by and Jo catches up with Grammy nominated Corinne Bailey Rae and US singer-songwriter Elle King.
