  1. I must have different hearing. I thought Jess Giyn's performance was awful. It's frightening to think that she and Ellie Goulding are two of our biggest females.
  2. I'm no fan of either but it was obvious which artist Cowell favoured and would do his damnedest to ensure she had the best possible chance of being more successful. He's so predictable. Ben doesn't even have an iTunes banner. It still remains to be seen whether Fleur can carve out a lasting career in the music business once the hype has died down. I see her more shifting singles than albums.

  4. WOW!!! :cheer: :w00t: And so richly deserved. :yahoo: http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/whats-on/mu...e-city-10431276
  5. Will was nothing short of sensational last night in Newcastle, putting his heart and soul into every performance. :yahoo: The audience were up for a good night right from the off and Will fed off their banter and enthusiasm commenting on how quick they were in responding to his wacky sense of humour. Of course it goes without saying that he was pitch perfect, in his element working every inch of the stage. Before the gig we got talking to a couple in the bar. The man said although Echoes was one of his favourite albums he'd never seen Will live. He enquired what he could expect from the concert. He said he'd seen many artists lately, Jess Glynn being one and although he'd enjoyed her singing, he was very bored as she just stood there. I assured him that would not be the case with Will. When we took to our seats I spotted him in the opposite side balcony and we waved to each other. I had hoped to catch him afterwards to hear his thoughts. I didn't need to he was up on his feet throughout the the concert appreciating every note. In fact I feared he would leap down onto the stage when he heard the opening bars of Runnaway. Watching such a reaction from a first timer really made my night. The audience was very mixed last night. Don't think I ever remember seeing so many men of all ages at a Will concert. Made me smile spotting a group of young men in their early 20's leaving the gig, one was wearing his Will Young t shirt with pride. Can't wait to read the Chronicle review, from the tweets and pics, the reporter seemed mightily impressed. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/whats-on/mu...e-city-10427884

Thanks again. Would love a slot on Graham Norton. His interviews with Graham are always hilarious. Will did say in a recent interview when asked what he had planned after the tour, more album promo. So fingers crossed for at least one prime slot. As Will said himself it's a bun fight now to get on the big programmes. As long as he sings I'll be happy. He seems to have spent more time being interviewed than singing with this album. While he's a dream guest it's his live singing which shifts his albums.

Thanks Joe. I had 71k + but it's great to have the exact figure.
  10. You'll only have to wait another week for maximum exposure for his re-release.

  15. Will may not be too well but it doesn't seem to be affecting his performance. Just a few of the many brilliant tweets. :D

It's all down to his lack of AirPlay though isn't it. If the songs aren't being heard they won't be downloaded and streamed. Therefore it drops down the chart and is no longer stocked in supermarkets. Sales could be better but he's doing way better than a lot of artists in a similar position. The tour is virtually sold out and getting excellent reviews so he must be doing something right.
  17. I agree it's looking very unlikely. I was clutching at straws really as I never truly believed it was something Will would do.
