  2. Yes it was. The hand of Cowell. If something is successful replicate it.
  3. #84 (62) :)
  4. Thought I'd start a new thread for tour related articles and reviews. Only 2 weeks till York! Can't wait. :yahoo:  Thanks to Abbie and Diz for this article in the Liverpool Echo.
  5. Up to #93 (71) now. :cheer: His physicals will probably be suffering because many supermarkets only stock the top 40 now. If customers can't see it they won't buy it. As you say munchkin it's where the vast majority of Will's sales come from.
  6. The standard version of the album has been reduced to £5.99 (not sure how long for) and advertised on the main iTunes page under recent releases. Could be tied into the strictly appearance. Hope it results in a few more sales. Editing to say already having an affect #173. It was in the 400's when I looked earlier in the week.
  7. I see this station has played Joyand Leave Right Now today.

Hope stores have copies of the album next week to take advantage of the SCD performance. Currently at #122 in today's midweeks.
  13. I know Will Young's album is no longer top 100 but dos anyone know it's exact position?
  14. Ready to hear me sing this on @bbcstrictly this weekend?? Joy - 85% Proof (Track-By-Track Part 7) https://twitter.com/will_young31/status/654027591494402049

  17. Great to have you posting again fatmuffin. :cheer:
  18. I have followed Leona's return with interest, reading threads on here, DS and Popjustice. I fail to see why comparisons are made to Will Young. Apart from both coming from a talent show and now being signed to Island their careers couldn't be more different. Unlike Leona, Will has always followed his own path, ditching Cowell in the first year of his career. He's worked hard to establish himself and build up a loyal fanbase and has reaped the rewards for his constant touring by being a consistent album seller. Even when not touring he has kept fans interested with his various forays into acting and a series of intimate jazz gigs. Now after a 4 year break he is still able to sell enough to satisfy his label and sell out a 23 date tour, despite his drop in radio support. Leona made the mistake of rushing off to conquer the world before establishing herself in the Uk and it looks as if she still hasn't learn't her lesson. No wonder there are so few UK fans left willing to invest in her. Her ridiculous tour prices will only alienate the fans she has left. Any artist's home fanbase are their bread and butter and should not be taken for granted.
  19. Week ending 11th October
  20. He'll be relieved.
  21. That's a good set munchkin and I agree great value for money. Listening to some of the clips his voice sounds in fine form but then when is it not. He must be one of the most consistent live performers. Roll on York. Less than 3 weeks to wait. :yahoo:
  22. From the Festival of Rugby.
