  1. Judging by this and posts by other members of her old team (who also don’t appear to be on good terms) it seems Mabel left them as she felt they couldn’t manage singles properly/get hits to stick in the charts, while they’re arguing that no one can predict/manage this due to the changes in the industry.. but that’s kinda their job? #idk I think she’s well within her right to make a decision like that to further her career but ig they’re pissed since they’ve been together for like 5/6 years and she just dipped. Mabel probably should have acknowledged them for the album release but maybe there’s reason for that who knows? but the way the post is phrased.. ‘I made her a multi platinum brit award winner’ comes across as quite conceited after her moaning about not giving other people credit lmao- especially when Mabel is her most successful client by far and she refuses to even mention her name.. but credit to her for the work anyway
  2. ex manager* but how could that even be true surely they had already printed thousands of vinyls and CDs etc by that point? the whole post is a bit odd
  3. getting an album with a ticket was only optional and most of them were around 500 capacity Realistically people who are fans enough to go to an intimate gig would most likely have bought a physical album anyway
  4. Happy for Mabes, it even outsold High Expectations by about 300 despite the horrific rollout so a great success considering the past year or so
  5. Pretty sure the vast majority of physicals were uk only for pre orders + this week
  6. Something to do with song writing credits was the rumour
  7. Tap are listed as her management for her recent music video but unsure why they can’t announce it? Maybe they’re just waiting until after the album rollout is done
  8. Let Love Go should have been the single choice but not complaining about new music anyway
  9. She was obviously being sarcastic
  10. It’s literally not even been announced yet how have you come to this conclusion lmaooo
  11. She's already said there will be more singles coming soon, i'm not sure if its for the album but theres a collab with 24kGoldn they have both teased via Instagram so I presume that might be next. I also think 'definition' has good potential as a single.
  12. Hoping garage comes back to replace this tired drill sound, weird that only AJ Tracey has done it (twice) and everyone loved it, both songs smashed but no one has really done it since? (to my knowledge anyway)
  13. It's definitely better than most of the HE singles, not sure why some people seem to not like it for being 'generic' when DCMU, Mad Love, Boyfriend etc are all more basic than this? I like all the snippets she's teased from the new album and people who've heard it said its great, but if she was to reuse a previous sound she could make her own lane doing more stuff like West Ten which was great
  14. Is this the norm for these kind of songs? Need Mabel’s to do well so she can release her second album
  15. How come Spotify shows streaming numbers for new songs when they've not even been out for a full day? what is it tracking exactly? same goes for those Apple Music updates?
