Judging by this and posts by other members of her old team (who also don’t appear to be on good terms) it seems Mabel left them as she felt they couldn’t manage singles properly/get hits to stick in the charts, while they’re arguing that no one can predict/manage this due to the changes in the industry.. but that’s kinda their job? #idk I think she’s well within her right to make a decision like that to further her career but ig they’re pissed since they’ve been together for like 5/6 years and she just dipped. I saw someone elsewhere mention that she has her own licencing deal and owns her masters and considering her parents it likely she has a much more favourable contract than raye for example so it should be easier to escape- also possible that she funds her own studio sessions meaning the label basically only distribute and promote releases(?) so she might be able to keep her songs?
