  1. I would say Forever because it signaled the ending of the band. Also, it entered at number 39 on Billboard charts was also shocking. From Number One and Number Three albums to barely making Top 40. Also, the Headlines flop was a bit iconic because up until that point, Children in Need single tended to guarantee Top 10 right? So they kinda flopped spectacularly.
  2. To be fair, Who do you think you are (demo) sounds 95% finished
  3. They will probably announce the week that SW25 is released
  4. Come on Posh, join the full tour for the International fans
  5. Can he be hired to oversee all their socials and archives from now on please?
  6. I predicted 15th and 2500-3000 copies (perhaps maybe it should be 3500-4000 copies for that position actually). There’s no urgency in getting this time around unlike the first round. Plus, the individual vinyls not being available this time so people won’t buy five copies of it this time.
  7. 256 years later and still no WOMAN…
  8. Since they skipped the individual vinyls this time, I’ll them to do five individual covers for Blu-ray Discs then.
  9. Plus, you had Mel C saying that SW25 was gonna be ever bigger and better…and these are what we are getting after being hyped for a year. Anyway, I’ll just buy on iTunes and buy the CDs by Christmas. And then vinyls and cassettes later when they are on sale. At least, last year they had the five individual vinyl gimmick to drive me to buy them all.
  10. I guess this is the latest total sales from Universal? After their iconic 1996 debut single “Wannabe” topped the charts in 37 countries, Spice Girls’ debut album Spice went on to sell more than 31 million copies worldwide, becoming the best-selling album of all time by a female group. The girls have gone on to sell more than 90 million records around the globe, releasing three studio albums and 11 singles and winning a host of awards including a BRIT Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music. https://www.udiscovermusic.com/news/spice-g...anded-editions/
  11. Wow, I mean, that’s kind of f***ed up.
  12. They used the retouched scan from Odai Afuni from Spice Cycle. I wonder what else are included inside the booklet. I hope they credited him in the booklet.
  13. I read the description on Amazon of the 2 vinyls and it’s basically the same track listing? I doubt they would do any different, this is the band that does the bare minimum. Description Curated by the Spice Girls themselves, this Deluxe Edition 2 LP set celebrates the 25-anniversary of their 1997 album. Spiceworld 25 features the original 10-song chart-topping album, plus a bonus disc of their favorite B-sides, remixes, and live recordings from their hugely successful 1998 tour.
  14. Interesting they didn’t go with the new Spiceworld logo. I actually liked it a lot.
  15. Not with this cash grab this time
  16. With no individual covers, I’ll doubt they sell as much as Spice25 with this lackluster track list. I might just wait until they are half off.
  17. I remember thinking that they would just put Step to me on Spiceworld 25 and called it a day last year. And they did.
  18. Three versions of Step to me already??? I know we asked for it but they really gave us all (for just this song), aren’t they? Lol Track 13 better be Walk of Life! Track 13 is Walk Of Life (yay!) but Track 5 is Too Much ( Live in Toronto) ?!
  19. Track 12: Outer Space girls
  20. Maybe they saw the negative reaction to the leak and decided to cancel it lol
  21. But then they managed to release it on Japanese release in 1997. Does Pepsi own the right still 25 years later?
  22. If after all of that tease and we don’t get Step To Me….
  23. I also agree with Mel C that Do it is overrated but my reason is that she’s hogging all the singing on it, which I didn’t quite like (same with Wasting My Time)
  24. Victoria and Mel C. Emma and Mel B wanted to continue promoting Forever but the other two decided that they didn’t want to continue anymore. This was Xmas 2000 I think. That’s why a few months or so, Mel C said in an interview that she was not a spice girl anymore and the news was everywhere. Also, it was an unfortunate timing because Emma was promoting her single by then so she had to say Mel C’s words were taken out of context.
  25. The only reveal that was shocking to me in Mel AB’s first book was that the girls talked after Forever flopped and half of them decided to not continue.
