I’m starting to think it’s a mistake for them to get back with Simon. He’s been spewing really terrible ideas since he got sacked in 1997 and this adds on top of it. Sometimes it feels like he doesn’t understand how people want to see the girls because of them. Like when he thought that he would replace Geri with a new girl, holding worldwide competition (basically became American Idol show) and the animation (that now didn’t go anywhere).

Oh well, I was excited and ready to buy lol.

From the Christmas tour 99? i think that's the original demo one. Darkchild remixed it, along with RBAY, in July 2000 but it didn't work so they recorded Wasting My TIme as the final track instead.

“Headlines” is why it’s not a million seller lol. Had they dropped some cool and unexpected track like “Somthing kinda ooh” that Girls Aoud did, they could have sold over a million too. With “Headlines”, casual fans weren't gonna rush to buy it.

Pissed me off that they completely ignored Spiceworld The Movie as well.

Yes, the were a thing in summer of 2000. Gosh, this looks even worse that she went against her old bandmate instead of battling out with the pop boys instead. Or the Boyzone's chart battle made her lose confidence lol.

Honestly, they could just replace this ad as their official MV and it would work perfectly. I'm sure there are enough footage for them to frankenstein a 4 minutes music video form.

I remember that I side-eyed Geri hard for not stepping aside and let Emma have her moment. I really judged her character then that she would compete against her so-called ex-bandmate/ sister. And to Emma, whos the nicest lol. Thank goodness, Emma got her number one later. Then, I forgave Geri lol.

Oh really lol now I have to go back watch both performances back to back. Well, at least miming to their live vocals would have still been better!

They sang live at MtV Europe three years before so then lipsyncing that night was a regress in their professional career. I think they just didn’t find time as a group to rehearse and just decide to lipsync it. By 2000, we already had Britney and J.Lo lipsync to a pre-recorded vocals, the girls could have done the same too.

I guess Emma saw the rate and realised fans are pulling enough votes for the underrated Free Me and Life In Mono, she decided to drop them on Spotify. Extend the period, we need newer votes 😝.
