Yes, I agree, a random draw sounds about the fairest way. Let's hope it's all done fair and square, and no-one has reason to get upset. A couple of years back, I could never have imagined Will wanting to do anything like this. But over the last year or so, and particularly since having done the Vortex, he seems far more relaxed about being in the presence of fans ..... and far more relaxed about his 'celebrity' status in general. Who knows what's behind it? Does it really matter? Maybe he just wanted to do something he though his fans might appreciate. Yes, on balance, I'd probably prefer a front row spot at an intimate gig  , but this comp sounds pretty damn good too! I think I may enter this one. For some reason, it doesn't sound as scary as the thought of a Meet & Greet, or one-to-one encounter. Safety in numbers, and all that. I could just melt into the background and spend a wonderful couple of hours just looking and listening. I don't think I'd dribble, LOL, but I probably would have that soppy, loved-up smile all over my face, the one that I always get whenever I look at Will  Oh, and I'd definitely eat - takes an awful lot to put me off my food. Listen to me go on, as if I've got a snowflake in hell's chance  But wooohooo!!! :jump: I'm gonna have a go! And good luck to anyone else entering, too! :D
  2. YAY!! :yahoo: to the Proms news! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Have a fab time all you lucky peeps who are going. I've had to talk myself out of it, as it's too far for me to be able to travel back on the same day, and I can't afford an overnight stay in London, on top of ticket & train costs *sighs* But as long as I can watch him on the telly, I'm happy! I can't wait to find out the other 'exciting news'!! I like your list, Marguerite - anything except the last one would be OK by me :P
  3. He surely does!! :naughty:   And hasn't he got the 'cool pop star' look down to a fine art, as well? Who'd have thought it way back in 2002, eh? B) No idea who the guy behind is, but if he IS checking out Will's pert little behind, who could blame him? The pics look current to me, too. The suit looks familiar, and the shirt is from the MHP premiere of course, but I'm sure I've not seen them before ... very gorgeous though, thanks for posting! :D

Furore? Really? I thought I spent far too much time on Devoted, but obviously that one went right over my head! Although TBH whenever I've got a new Will album , I'm far too busy listening to it than reading everyone else's opinion on all the tracks! Love the idea of lots of live performances to promote the next album Although if my luck is true to form, I won't manage to get tickets for any performances while the people who are always 'lucky' will no doubt be 'lucky' again :( I love the excited anticipation of wondering what delights Will has got in store for us :yahoo: And I can't wait to find out what sort of a sound he comes up with when he's feeling relaxed, happy and confident. FC was his first foray into 'his own sound', KO more personal, more accomplished, but a product of unhappiness rather than satisfaction. What sort of music is he going to make when he's at a great place both personally and professionally, and feeling free from pressure, expectation and personal turmoil? I've a feeling it's going to be his best yet, really amazing!! I've loved the tracks he's done with Robin Thicke and Groove Armada, so more of that would be wonderful. But I really don't mind who he's working with, I have every confidence he'll deliver the goods :D If I had one wish for the next album, it would be for a new producer and a simpler sound. Steve Lipson did a great job with FC and KO but they sound a tad over-produced to my ears. But Will seems to stick to the people he feels comfortable with, so it'll probably be Lippo again. But that's only a very small quibble, I'm sure it won't detract from my enjoyment of album No. 4. Bring it on, Will, I can't wait! :w00t:
  5. Great find, BYM+M's  I've never understood critics who describe his voice as 'thin' either  Anything but, IMO. I was a little worried too, when I first heard mention of 'electro-pop' on Keep On. I had disturbing 1980s flashbacks - eeek!! But I was blown away by the brilliance of KO (the single) on first hearing, it is just amazing! . The blogger perfectly captures its utter mind-blowingness. It would have been perfect as an upbeat single after WAI, just to show people how diverse Will's sound can really be. :(
  6. I must be a stalker then, 'cos I've been to the pub in question :D It was a meet up with other Will-fans, a lovely atmosphere (those were the days! ) and if I'd thought for a second that Will would be anywhere near, I wouldn't have gone within a mile of the place! It IS a public house btw, meaning it's business is to sell food & drink to the public. It's not quite the same as hanging around outside someone's private residence. And the owners used to trade on Will's PI success to draw in business back in those days - so fair game IMO. I think I know the person that some peeps are talking about, but I don't want to get into any personal discussions about individuals. It was one of the reasons I stopped wanting to visit those sites. There was too much petty playground bitching about about what X or Y had said or done, and I really didn't want to be a part of it. I just realised that I'd grown apart from the other members, and it was time to move on. I have plenty of friends who don't like Will, and aren't afraid to say so. I certainly wouldn't dismiss their friendship just because they didn't like Will. But if, however, they relished taking constant digs at him knowing that it would make me feel hurt, I think I would start to question whether they were real friends or not. B)
  7. :cheer: YAY! Nice one, Will! He's certainly amongst good company.
  8. I used to be a member on those sites too. I'm not the sort of person who gets twitchy at someone disliking something that Will does (I guess it's not a crime!) but I, too, couldn't understand the vitriol and personal abuse that was levelled at Will. Some people seemed to take it as a personal affront that Will had dared to sing in a different style, or move in a direction, that was different than their expectations. He was, indeed, treated as if he had personally let them down, and the full force of their wrath was directed at him as a consequence. I can live with the occasional single, or some album tracks, that I'm not so keen on. For me, it's that voice ..... it can send shivers down my spine, and even when I don't like the song, the voice itself always captivates me. Plus the fact that Will is so damn gorgeous to look at. And clever. And funny. And quirky. And principled. And courageous. Stop me, or I'll go on all day ........ He may not be perfect. He's done things, sometimes, that I think were a little iffy (I'm not just talking music) but it's like having a best friend, isn't it? You don't cr@p all over them just because they do a couple of things that you don't agree with. I'm with Tillywhim on the 'oath' thingy. If I ever lose my Will love, I'm not going to carry on visiting Will forums just to bang on about how much I've gone off him, and that everyone else must be deluded for still liking him. But it's never going to happen anyway - I'll be a fan for as long as he's in the music business, and beyond
  9. Think I've just completely f@#ked up that multiquote effort - hope you get the gist anyway!
  10. My, you've all been busy having a good moan, haven't you? It doesn't bother me if peeps have another artist on their banner. Maybe Will isn't their No. 1 but if they like him enough to visit and see what he's up to, where's the harm? Doesn't anyone here like any other artist or group enough to want to check out their website? I must be odd  but I actually enjoy the threads with all sorts of opinions, I really don't understand why anyone gets upset at a bit of diversity of opinion. Isn't it a bit boring to have page after page of " OMG, wasn't that so fantastic .......!!!" There have been things that Will's done that I haven't always liked, I've even posted up the odd criticism myself - but I'm still here, five years down the line, unable to go a day without my "Will fix". Obsessed, moi? Hell yeah! Say it like it is, FG!! Think I might B) But hey, hope you enjoy posting here! :D I'm not so sure that the 'lurkers' will take to posting again even when there's something to post about. I've met loads of the the old crowd at the Vortex / Arena Tour, and while they still love Will and still want to visit D to get info on what he's up to, they just don't have any incentive to want to start posting again. Many reasons, the sanctimonious few who have spoilt the atmosphere being just one of them. And finally, here's a rant of my own. My delicious and painstakingly prepared pasta bake has burned to a crisp while I've been on this bloody computer obsessing over Will :arrr:
  11. Make sure you've got your armour on, Suggy - the Post Police will be waggling their fingers at you :nono: And they wonder why people stop posting pictures, or news, or comments :hithead:

Thanks for all the lovely photos, peeps This one makes me laugh  http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y113/missmoneypenny58/Image7-5.jpg There's just something about the way that Will is rummaging through his man-bag that reminds me of my constant struggle to locate my car keys, despit having an unfashionably tiny handbag. Where do they hide? Cramming keys and wallet into pockets seems much easier, I can't understand why any bloke would go for the man-bag option! And Mr May isn't my favourite calendar pic, but it's a definite improvement on the rather sinister Mr. April!! http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y229/angelique20/will2/mrmay07.jpg
  13. Yes, as long as Will can maintain that grip on the back of Conor's neck, he shouldn't be able to stray far! :P
  14. Do you mean you don't believe that Conor was (is?) cheating, Dot? It rings true to me. I suppose we can only form our own interpretations, based on what we see/hear/read, and our own intuition. I know what I think B)
  15. I think Heat have only blurred it out to add to the sense of mystery - I bet nobody would know the guy even if they printed his name and photo; " assistant to a controversial artist......." ..... wow, must be really famous, gotta protect his identity - NOT!! BTW, I sense a trace of "shooting the messenger" with some of the comments about backtracking etc. Wasn't it pretty widely accepted that the split story was true at the time of going to print? Lots of people came out of the woodwork and said they'd known about it for ages, so it doesn't seem to be a tabloid invention. If a girlfriend of mine had a bloke who couldn't keep it in his pants for more than 5 minutes as soon as her back was turned, I'd be telling her to kick him into touch -pronto!!

Now that one - I like!!! Is it recent? Don't recall seeing it before. The other 'new' pics are very nice, too (well, half-nice. If I put my hand over my left eye and just look at the right-hand side, they're not too bad :P ) On a side-note, have you ever seen a celeb wearing flip-flops at an A-list 'do'before? It could only be William, couldn't it?
  17. Have seen those album launch pics and yes, Will looks just luvverly  But I'm not so ecstatic as everyone else seems to be about the guest he's cosying up to - if it IS who everyone believes it to be. Of course I want Will to be happy, with whoever it is that he thinks will make him happy. But I just get bad vibes about that person. IMO he's one of those headf*@#!*s who can't make up his mind what he wants, and peeps like that are always a one-way ticket to heartbreak. Personally, I hope it's NOT that person or, if it is, that the photo looks more meaningful than it actually is. :(
  18. No need to explain yourself, I hope I didn't sound as if I disapproved because that's absolutely not the case! I'm always very happy to read any snippets of info regarding Will, and I'm grateful to those who go searching them out because, tbh, I'm a bit of a lazy sod really  No doubt I could soon get up to speed with the technical element, but everyone else does it so much quicker and better so - carry on guys!! Of course it'll be great when Will gets back, because there should be more sightings and photos. All taken by paps, I suppose, so I should (in theory) turn my nose up and take the moral high ground. But I'm afraid I have no moral high ground when it comes to Will photos. It's all on one level - shallow. :P

Gorgeous photo, thank you! :) He is one amazingly beautiful man!
  20. I'm pretty much the same  Hats off to all those busy bees doing their Miss Marple act, you've got far more time and patience (not to mention technical know-how) than I have! At the end of the day, it doesn't bother me too much which side of the pond he's on. It'll be nice to get new photos and snippets (and music, eventually), which is obviously more likely to happen when he's back over here, so from that point of view I'll be glad when he's home. But, apart from that, it doesn't make any difference to me where he is. He's a million miles away from me, wherever he is :(

Ah yes, I like that one - certainly describes how I was feeling when I saw the white trouser photo! :P
  22. Thanks for posting that, Lainey :) Where's it from?
  23. I haven't commented previously (although I have been reading the thread) because I'm only mildly interested in whether Gareth succeeds with his comeback, but this comment puzzled me. Maybe I'm being dense, but I really don't understand why anyone would think that Simon Cowell gave a rat's arse about Gareth. They don't work together anymore, I know, but I've never heard any major slagging off from either party ....... and what would be SC's motivation for wanting Gareth to fail? If he doesn't stand to make or lose money out of it, I would imagine it's not even on his radar. As for Changes...... doesn't do much for me, but good luck to the boy.
  24. Thanks for posting that quote TT, it's always heartwarming to know that Will is well respected by other talented musicians :)
