Errr, no!!. I am NOT talking complete "poo", they act like a bunch of t**** forced to do their job with no interest. If they were "chart nerds", they'd get their facts right, but make tons of amterurish mistakes. They get past chart facts wrong concerning an artist for a start. BRILLIANT!!!!, let's keep it in there!! :D. It's people like them that will make Feeder always be remembered for "Buck Rogers". People say no matter how many more hits they get, they'll always be remembered for that song. Well, if JK and Joke stop winding Grant up over it everytime they interview him, then maybe it very well won't happen :angry: . I love "Buck Rogers" , but this is a band with 23 hit singles and Grant said he'd rather be rembered for something like "Just The Way I'm Feeling"- a song that shows his true songwriting talents. It's not only that issue which makes me want to kick them, but also their poor presenting of the chart. It sounds like they're reading from autocue with no genuine interest in the chart, and the Dave Pearce thing halfway through and the way they suck up to him as if everyone should listen to his show is incredibly annoying. They also had this attitude that if you chart from 21-40 the single is worthless, when in fact a debut top 40 deserves to be recognised, no matter where it ends up. They prolly still think that now, and have been told by their bosses to play all the new entries like it or lump it. Mark Goodier knew his stuff, he was very neutral and just did what mattered- counting down the chart. If it was a debut top 40 he used to congratulate them, as after all anyone with a top 40 is sucsessful. The whole beauty of this little scheme is that they HAVE to play the song no matter what they think!! HA!! HA!! HA!!.

They are a certain candidate for an appearance in the top 500 of all time list in the next edition of Guiness Hit Singles and Albums. New entires also look likely to include Feeder, Keane and quite a few more as many acts have added onto their tally quite a lot this year. Once I get the new edition of the book (maybe June), and Snow Patrol have made it in, I'll scan the page they appear on and post it up here .

It's so hard to believe that FS is a 2003 album, it took over a year for the album to get sucsess!!.
