What's The Automatic's chart run with "Recover" please? :).

Georgie is playing with a paper boat covered in parafin paint so it's waterproof, he's like racing it in the rain and the water of the rain is running down the street and down drains, the boat soon ends up in a drain....... Georgie- "No please no!!" Georgie checks the drain to see where it went, and walks away, but Pennywise pops up from underneath the drain. Pennywise- "HELLO GEORGIE!....... arn't ya gonna say... hello!?" Georgie shakes his head Pennywise- "Aaaawwww!!!, com' on buckle!!, don't you want a balooonn!!?" Georgie- "I'm not supposed to take stuff from strangers!, my Dad said so" Pennywise- "That's very wise of your Dad Georgie!, VERY WISE INDEED!. I Georgie, am Pennywise the dancing clown!, and you! are Georgie!, so we know each other!, hey!?" Georgie- "I guess so, I better go" Pennywise- "GO!, not without this!?" Georgie- "MY BOAT!!!" Pennywise- "EXACTLY!, take it kiddo!!, you want it don't you!?, of course you do!.....there's cotton candy, rides and all sorts of suprises down here!, and baloons too!, all colours!" Georgie- "Do they float!?" Pennywise- "Oh yes, they flooaaattt!!!!, Georgie, they flloaattt!!"..... and when you're down here WITH ME!.... YOU'LL FLOAT TTTOOAAAHHH!!!" Pennywise than grabs Georgies hand as he reaches out for the paper boat Pennywise is holding only to drag Georgie by the arm with him screaming, and then what we see as the scene fades out to a funeral scene, is Georgie's arm being dragged inside Pennywise's mouth in which his teeth look like sharp pins. Later in the film we learn he pulled it off like the leg off from a fly.

On the hourly update, it's now at #76!!! :lol: . I can't believe I liked them too, and seen them live twice this year, it was only a matter of time I'd realise what a right little twerp he has become because of Big Bluddy Brother, and the right little media hogging t*** he his. Even when I liked them I was skipping tracks on "Brassbound", and then realised how fake the album is. This new one don't sound promising either, even the fans have turned backs. The band are like a showbiz springboard to help get him more attention without people knowing his music very well. They should just give it up, and Preston can appear in a remake of Stephen King's "IT" as Pennywise. Why?, cos he looks like a clown. They are floating down the charts "Oh yes!, they flooaattt!!". ^^^^ quote from the film there! :D. They should just end now on a compilation called "Carry On Down The Charts".

Look how pathetic their logo is!!!, it reminds me of a surf board company!!. The worse logo change ever, beating the Stereophonics one from 2001 that seen a logo that looked like the sort of thing on a lemonade bottle, in which the drink is made from "real lemons" <_< .

McFly are offering a free video download on their website, you get it if you download the audio track. How many people would download the song without this free gift?.

There was Preston blagging on saying it's the best album they've ever produced, and look at this- the albums sales have according to Amazon been tailing off by the day, and looks to bomb!, it's currently at #72 and only got to #23 as a pre-order the day before release on the hourly update. There he was disowning "Brassbound", saying he thought it was cr@p anyway. If he thought that why were so many songs played from it even on the recent tour!?. The biggest hit always has charted higher than the album itself, so it was always on the cards! :D.

Good song, deadful video and shii*iiit recent album!!!. This song is the only decent one they'll ever make.

Feeder, Milburn, Embrace and other decent acts like them.

Razorlight and all these other talentless NME hypes (exc Arctic Monkeys) that only get there because the magazine told them to buy it, and also boy bands.

Just might get that Tim Buckley Greatest Hits!! :D. and in the Tim Buckley video in this thread, there seems to be a car in the background, JUST LIKE in "America"'s video!!!. They seem to have stolen a bit from both versions of the song. This Mortal Coil was a brilliant 4AD project, each track featured a different vocalist from a 4AD signed artist, like in this example Conteau Twins.

Absolute bluddy rubbish!!!, I only hope MCR knock them off as that is really growing on me despite me not liking it at the start. That song is a TUNE!!!, this is total rubbish.

But the This Mortal Coil song is a classic, only made the top 75 in the 80's but is a cult classic. Spent ages on the indie chart too. It's up on youtube, usually the first thing that comes up after you type the band name in, not really a band tho- more of a side project of all the artists on the 4AD roster at the time. The song was originally by Tim Buckley.

Yup, found it the other day just to see what the fuss the NME is making about it. The video is just as bad as the song, how the Delorean at the end gets all smashed up isn't explained.

When the guitars go all quiet it sounds like a poor mans version of "Song To The Siren" by This Mortal Coil, and when it tries to go all upbeat it sounds abysmal.

I only knew about the diary entry after seeing it being mentioned on another forum of another band.
