  1. Great band, but that should have stayed off the album. The keyboard sounds as if someones playing on a zylophone all microphoned up, or some cheap instrument from Argos is bring played. It ruins the song totally.
  2. Hopefully "Eyes Open" as a video was shot for the US release.
  3. Ordinary Boys- Brassbound Totally c**p album, which sold understandably poorly.
  4. Yup, their biggest drop beating "My Weakness Is None Of Your Business", which dropped from 9-44 in late August 1998.
  5. Marcus posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
After taking a few factors into consideration such as downloaded tracks that are paid for and are not recognised in the chart due to the physical counterpart rule, and the deletion rule, I have thought of these rules: 1) As soon as an online downloads vendor releases a track as a single bundle, or as a single track download (not as part of the album), the download will count toward the chart, and if downloaded from the album if it's on one, it'll still count as long as the vendor are also offering it as a separate download or separate download bundle package. 2) Failing the confusion in the previous rule, the OCC could instead change the number of weeks a download can count before physical release from 1 to 4. This allows as many downloads as possible to count towards the chart. 3) To prevent the chart being clogged up with album tracks, which can and will be a nightmare if it happens, the vendors can only offer the albums as bundles and not allow the users to download individual ones instead. This way only tracks being advertised as singles will be able to be downloaded. Suggestions welcome please! :).
  6. I see Embrace have completely dissapeared! :o
  7. Orson definetly, the others I don't like or are below par of the acts standards.
  8. McFly all the way!, they ruined that Queen song, and the other A side to the single is typical McFly dross!!.
  9. They're totally brilliant, still going on now despite their following being reduced to a mere cult again. Is their biggest album "Porcupine"?, cos that one reached #2 in the album charts, and I don't think they're topped the charts yet.
  10. It's quite rare for someone to get famous by word of mouth these days.
  11. Ah!, I remember now!, it was mentioned on "Never Mind The Buzzcocks"!
  12. Top 30 I think, if not top 10 and a quick drop-out. Not many fanbase sales based bands go in the top 10 albums these days, but seem to do the same in the singles, or got top 20 with a quick fall-out. Gone off Ordinary Boys now,and it seems appeal is pretty low as a band anyway, as "Brassbound" only sold something like 110,000, good for someone who is little-known or a newcomer, but for a band who are all over the papers, it's quite a let-down.
  13. Their 2004-released eponymous debut album is also poised to re-enter the top 20 thanks to the media buzz around Ta-Dah. It's the only thing that gets people buying records these days, without the media buzz you won't sell, or just have tons of modest selling albums........... Sad but true. So Scissor Sisters is something sexual-releated then?.
  14. Instead people go and buy a single and album by a joke band, named after a cutting device...........
  15. Didn't think the Nicky Wire debut single would do well, hence the lack of promo :(.
  16. They've had ups and downs in their career in terms of album sucsess, but deserve to go on for a lot more longer :). I'm going to see them the week after next, if it's one of the last shows they'll do, it should be one of their best.
  17. There's the impression in there that they don't want to upset the fans, and therefore not tell us directly, but just seem to be hinting at it :( :( :(.
