I was thinking the same thing earlier Monday...of course I've had several people I know, family included, ask me when the wedding is going to happen....I told them, at this point, I don't know, since we're taking things slowly right now in this relationship...it'd help her out quite a bit right now if we WERE married, as she currently has no health insurance coverage, and I do, through my employer....but, we want to make sure at this point before jumping into any kind of marriage, since she's had 1 marriage end badly, as well as several other relationships in her past end quite badly....

Red West, former bodyguard of Elvis, who became an actor in his own right, passed last week at age 81 due to an aortic aneurysm. He was planning on attending Elvis week this year at Graceland, to mark the 40th anniversary of Elvis' passing. Rip Red...

At shop.graceland.com, there's a preorder available for a 3 cd set called The Boy From Tupelo, which contains all known early recordings of Elvis from 1953 to 1955. They're on the lookout for anything that is previously not known about for recordings from this era, as well. This 3 cd set goes on sale 28 July this year. I've not been to the site to take a gander at this 3 cd set, so I don't know how much it'll be.

Thanks... :) :) I'd pretty much given up looking for a girlfriend a long time ago, but, when Karen and I met, seemingly out of the blue, we were both surprised at how our relationship developed, and me finally calling her my girlfriend back in March of this year....when I suggested to her about going with me in August on this trip, she eagerly jumped at the chance....

I think I've been experiencing English-style weather this weekend....rain, winds.....even some thunder/lightning thrown in for good measure.... I sent my girlfriend a text for her birthday on 7/24, asking her which anniversary she'll be celebrating, the 32nd anniversary of her 18th birthday, or the 29th anniversary of her 21st....told her I'll be celebrating my 32nd anniversary of my 21st birthday in 27 days from 7/23.... It's to the point now I'm wishing the 24th of August were here so my girlfriend and I can go on our trip slated for the 25th-28th of August...she's more excited than I am about this trip, and I'm pretty fookin excited....this is my first trip ever with a significant other going with me....

And with my girlfriend, I don't mind..... :rolleyes: :rolleyes: Especially when all she can think about is me and the things I do to her in the boudoir.... ;) ;)

And my girlfriend keeps me hopping when I'm not at work, when she's in town....and she so happens to be in town right now...

I think they'll both start off strong, but fade fast in 2018......
