  3. Sad news, indeed.... Also extremely sad news on the passing of Carrie Fisher..... :( :(
  4. Were the NYPD playing 'Galway Bay.? :P :P Sorry, couldn't resist the reference to The Pogues 'Fairytale of New York'....  Happy Crimbo from across the pond... And sad news on the passing of George Michael....
  5. May be the same reason he doesn't tour North America, either....might not be a good enough money-maker for it....
  6. I work till midnight local time where I am here in the US.....this is my 'unwind time, before I crawl into bed around 2 or 2.30 a.m. local time...you're 5 hours ahead of me in Oirland...

  8. Monday 26th December Watford 1-1 Crystal Palace (Kick off 12:30 PM) Arsenal 2-1 West Brom Burnley 1-2 Middlesbrough Chelsea 2-2 Bournemouth Leicester 1-1 Everton Manchester United 1-2 Sunderland Swansea 2-1 West Ham Hull 1-2 Manchester City (Kick off 5:15 PM) Tuesday 27th December Liverpool 2-1 Stoke (Kick off 5:15 PM) Wednesday 28th December Southampton 1-2 Tottenham (Kick off 7:45 PM) Let's see how I do with these fixtures starting with Boxing Day....
  9. Almost makes me glad I'm NOT a fan of Arsenal....seeing the habitual rabid fan meltdowns.....I think I saw somewhere that the Arsenal fans just need to get a grip on reality, and not be so anal about things....I surely don't go all wonky when Bournemouth or Swansea have bad days, and I'm a fan of both from across the pond....granted, Swansea are in the fight of their lives right now being in the relegation zone right now, but, I'm not sweating it....if they're relegated, I'm not going to have a cow over it....
  10. Nice to see I'm consistently out the top 50 here, and yay to the Sports forum in the top 10...
  11. Flatty, you lucky midweek winning bugger, you.... Looks like I'm just spinning me wheels in 11th position for now....
  12. Well, you could have swam thru the fog, dontchaknow....  I had fun swimming thru the fog to get home from work the past few nights....a fun 32 mile drive it were, at that, sploshing round in all that pea soup...
  13. Hope you didn't have to swim anywhere, Tess...

  15. Sounds like your kinda guy....that boy next door...
  16. That's what I get for going against Leicester for their match....a Vardy hat trick and a 4-0 lead at 3/4 time....serves me right...I'm just wondering what the heck's going on with the goal-scoring barrage the past 3 weekends or so....and it was nice to see another win for Bob Bradley and Swansea City....a clean sheet at that....
  17. Tuesday 13th December Bournemouth 2-2 Leicester City (Kick-Off 19:45) Everton 1-3 Arsenal (Kick-Off 19:45) Wednesday 14th December Middlesbrough 1-3 Liverpool (Kick-Off 19:45) Sunderland 2-3 Chelsea (Kick-Off 19:45) West Ham 2-1 Burnley (Kick-Off 19:45) Crystal Palace 2-2 Manchester United (Kick-Off 20:00) Manchester City 2-2 Watford (Kick-Off 20:00) Stoke 2-2 Southampton (Kick-Off 20:00) Tottenham 3-2 Hull City (Kick-Off 20:00) West Brom 1-3 Swansea (Kick-Off 20:00) Hope I do better with the mid-weeks than over the weekend....Saturday was REALLY bad for me....2 points....let's see how I do Sunday...
  18. Saturday 10th December Watford 1-1 Everton (K.O 12:30 GMT) Arsenal 2-1 Stoke Burnley 1-3 Bournemouth Hull 1-2 Crystal Palace Swansea 2-2 Sunderland Leicester 2-2 Manchester City (K.O 17:30 GMT) Sunday 11th December Chelsea 2-1 West Brom (K.O 12:00 GMT) Manchester United 1-3 Tottenham (K.O 14:15 GMT) Southampton 2-2 Middlesbrough (K.O 14:15 GMT) Liverpool 3-2 West Ham (K.O 16:30 GMT) I still hope to crack the top 10 one of these weeks....
  19. I think I have about 8 points so far for this weekend....then again, I may very well be wrong with my maths...
  20. I could say the same thing about Obama, not knowing the role of the POTUS.....   We shall see what happens with Trump at the helm of the US come 20 January....
  21. Am pleased with Bournemouth's win today, and I just have to wonder just how effective Mourhino is as a manager, seeing what happened with Chelsea last season, and now what's going on with Man U this season...seems to me the players just don't give two poops about performing like they know they can with Mourhino at the helm....just my perspective from across the pond here...and yes, some of those players seem to me to be WAY over-paid seeing how they're performing at this stage of the season....but, what do I know about the Premier League.....
  22. Too bad it's not a Belgian chit chat waffle....   :P :P :P
  23. Saturday 3rd December Manchester City 1-1 Chelsea (K.O 12:30 GMT) Crystal Palace 1-2 Southampton Stoke City 2-1 Burnley Sunderland 1-2 Leicester Tottenham 2-3 Swansea West Brom 2-2 Watford West Ham 1-2 Arsenal (K.O 17:30 GMT) Sunday 4th December Bournemouth 2-2 Liverpool (K.O 13:30 GMT) Everton 1-1 Manchester United (K.O 16:00 GMT) Monday 5th December Middlesbrough 2-1 Hull City (K.O 20:00 GMT) Another respectable week....let's see how I manage for the first weekend of December....
  24. IMO, it's those crazy seasons that present themselves from time to time that shake the business-as-usual up and make life in sport a whole helluva lot more interesting, as in least year's EPL season...those unexpected shake-ups also seem to draw in more viewership from the casual or not-so-interested fan, but, then again, what do I know from across the pond here....
