I don't know how many people here might be fans of ice hockey, but, Gordy Howe, aka Mr. Hockey here in North America due to his longevity in the sport, having played on some sort of professional level over 6 decades, passed away at age 88....he won 4 Stanley Cup trophies while with the Detroit Red Wings of the NHL (National Hockey League)...

I did make it home Monday night, going about 70 miles out of my way due to a major bridge being shut down due to the 45 MPH sustained winds....of course, I called off from work Tuesday due to a bunch of flooding around me for Tuesday due to the rains just on Tuesday from that pesky tropical storm...

Yay for tropical storm warnings...my corner of Florida's under one through early Tuesday morning along with flood watches/warnings due to Tropical Storm Colin in the southern Gulf of Mexico...just hope I can make it to work and back home for my Monday with all the commotion that's headed my way.... Ali surely had a way with words...

Just been reading online that Smack Down will be moving to Tuesday nights starting 19 July, and will be a live show just as Raw is, and will have it's own distinctive line up....wonder if this means there'll be a 'world champion' for the Smack Down brand....

Seems like he had an excuse a minute as his time waned at Chelsea....then again, that's just my observation from across the pond here....

Granted, I'm not one who is keeping up with everything that is Premiere League, or any kind of English football for that matter, but, just based on this past season, I can't see Jose Mourinho doing Manchester United any good, now or 3 years from now, especially seeing as how he has the final say on any transfers that might be in the offing over the summer window or in the January window...I cringe inside for the United fandom just thinking how badly he might bollox things up for the team, both with the Academy and the transfer windows.....just an American's opinion, for what it's worth....

There's conflicting reports as to whether it's Egyptair 804's wreckage or not....

Almost sounds to me like they MIGHT want to create more competition by having the 5 league/100 team set up for promotion/relegation....just my thoughts on this, and there's still time to decide either way if this'll happen or not....

Wouldn't surprise me if some/all of the big money clubs tried to pinch 2/3 of the Leicester City squad over the summer, along with Harry Kane from Tottenham, and one of the teams needing a manager tried to nick Eddie Howe from Bournemouth...
