With their draw today, Bournemouth will be safe for next season, for which I'm happy, as I do tend to prefer and like the 'underdog' teams, and Swansea City are another team I'm glad will be around for next season... EDIT: I know here in the US, all 10 fixtures will be aired across the stations of NBC Universal, but I know I don't get a couple of those atations with the cable provider I have here, so I'll likely be going between those 8 channels I do get on Champoinship Sunday....

It certainly appears to be the case with Leicester at this point in the second half, doesn't it? AND one fixture remaining..... Leicester are going to be on 80 points headed into Championship Sunday, with Jaime Vardy's PK score, putting him 1 behind Harry Kane at this point for the Golden Boot....

Well, at half time of the Leicester-Everton fixture, looks like I'm going to crack the 330 point goal for this thread I set for myself with my prognostications to date.... :) :) EDIT: Gads, I had the Tottenham result right for a third consecutive fixture......  If the Manchester City - Arsenal result holds, I'll somehow manage 15 points through Sunday the 8th.....if my math's correct.....

That's why I said Bournemouth'll have a better season next season once they get Callum Wilson back from his blown-out knee....this Yank, for one, has faith and confidence in the Bournemoth squad...

I am of the belief that Bournemouth will build on their play from this season and place higher in the tables next season, as they'll have a lot of their injured players back next season to help them perform better in the premier league....just my thoughts and opinion here...

Rats....and I like a nice curry, too.....I say rats because I live in the US, not Leicester....

As someone who's not followed as closely the BPL as those of you who live in the UK, it's definitely nice to see a different team other than the 'giants' of the league take the title for a change....perhaps, as has been mentioned elsewhere in various broadcasts on television, this will give other smaller clubs the impetus to say 'we can do what Leicester did' and really mix things up the next few seasons...

Well, it'll be interesting to see what happens with next season when it starts in August....

There were actually a couple of people who DID bet on Leicester back when the odds were 5000-1....I think I heard where they bet like 50 quid at the time...I don't rightly give two farts what they nay-sayers say, since they're nothing but a bunch of sour grapes that one of the 'giants' of the BPL didn't win the league as was expected....when I say 'giants', I refer to Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City or Manchester United....nice to see an underdog like Leicester win for a change... :)

In watching the post match banter between Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe and Steve Bower, Robbie Earle said that with Leicester winning the league title this year, it'll give all the squads who one might not possibly consider like Swansea or the freshly promoted Burnley for next season the impetus to say 'we can pull off a Leicester this season'....

Well, Leicester have Chelsea to thank for managing the 2-2 draw with an 83rd minute goal from Edin Hazard....I've seen videos from Leicester player Jaime Vardy's house when the Chelsea/Tottenham match ended, and the celebrations in his home, as well as some of the Leicester bar celebrations....

I know a couple who actually live in Leicester.....she's not a fan of football, he roots for an Italian team....she's thinking of making sure she has enough food in the apartment to last at least a week, since she's figuring they won't be able to get out of their apartment due to all the mental people celebrating when Leicester finally do manage to win the league....

UNICEF - Soccer Aid (2006 - 2025)
So much for Leicester winning today, but a draw will work.....now they have to hope that Tottenham either draw of lose at Chelsea for Monday's match in order to win the league....too bad there was no place round me here in the US where I could have place a wager on Leicester winning the league back when the odds were 5000:1.....

It made the news here in the US, the Queen and Prince Harry's response.... One of those Antonov planes showed up at the airport round me, too, about a year ago or so....
