  1. Always loved One Step Closer! and still do. I dont hate SCJ/8 actually all of their singles bar that terrible Christmas one were very good pop songs (Fool No More in particulary) Not too fussed about the Nsync track, Bye Bye Bye, It's Gonna Be Me, Tearin Up My Heart, I Want You Back and Gone pi** all over Girlfriend IMO and all deserved to do a lot better than they did, certainly better than Girlfriend did anyway
  2. Jump is one of three GA songs that I can't stand, the other two being Long Hot Summer and I Think We're Alone Now. Other than that everything they've ever released is pop at it's best IMO
  3. Hello, I've been a member for a few months now and I've been relatively quiet as far so I've finally decided to break my silence and make my first big thread hopefully will catch on. I'm reviewing the biggest singles of 2009 because frankly 2009 was the best year of my entire laugh. I turned 17 that year and the year just brings back such joyful and amazing memories along with certain songs, particulary those released in summertime. This isn't a countdown of me revealing the biggest selling singles of 2009 because that would be stupid and pointless it's just my take on the 100 best selling songs of that year. I'll probobaly do more threads like this when I've finished and with over 50 years worth there's plenty to choose from 100. Take That - Greatest Day 2009 peak: #6 Sales: 171,000 d9kiR4UxLtM I can honestly take or leave this. I've never really been into Gary and co but they have produced songs I've loved particulary 'Rule The World' and 'Patience' but this one doesn't leave me with much to take away. It's a pleasent listen don't get me wrong and I certainly don't hate it I'm just indifferent. Still, it's a favourite of the mothers and The Circus kept her fairly quiet throughout the 2008 Xmas Period anyway

  5. Can't Fight The Moonlight is one of my favourite songs ever and brings back memories of singing it in my mums car before she died in 2003, it's just a really special song for me and my sister so I'm pleased it beat 'One More Time' (though that just brings back memories of school disco's and such for me, pretty much every pop song from 98-02 has some kind of nostalgia attatched to it for me)

I found it very hard to determine which tracks to take out and which not to. For example 'Who You Are' may have been in the chart anyway and I completely forgot that 'Moves Like Jagger' was from The Voice - so I'll take those two out next week I think and I'm more than happy to eliminate Bieber
