  16. The Top 100 Best Selling Songs at #1 Had (what I assume) is a good idea for a thread yesterday. I looked at all the sales figures for the number ones during 2000-2009 and added up the song which sold the most whilst at the #1 spot (for example for 'Sound of the Underground' I added sales for the 4 weeks it was at #1). Good idea? Who knows but I'll carry on with it if people would like it. There were 272 different number ones in the 2000's (including Westlife's "I Have a Dream" which was released in 1999 but spent the first two weeks of the decade at #1). I will countdown the Top 100 but at the end I'll put up the full list Let's start 100.
