[The Disgrace Of Lithium]
It also flopped really hard in the US. The Open Door is over, especially with a third single as terrible as ATILF.What a waste.

Rocky's wife confirms Ben Moody's abuse.
So Ben wrote "Understanding"? "The pain that grips you The fear that binds you Releases life in me" "Tell me you will live through this And I will die for you..." I'm Probably completely off but I like it. :)

The Evanescence Christmas Thread
I'd buy Amy peace in her life. No idea about phsycial presents. I don't know the rest of the band.

Rocky's wife confirms Ben Moody's abuse.
Oh... I noticed something was weird about her during the Fallen era. She probably got fed up one day, broke up with her lame boyfriend and fired her manager. Amy

Rocky's wife confirms Ben Moody's abuse.
What do you mean about the other 2 situations? I don't follow Amy's life and relatinships closely. I know she's dating her therapist now but that's about it... She also had that relationship with Sean but I don't know what happened. Of course TLSIWOT didn't make it worth it. I just love that song. It's one of the saddest Evanescence songs and now that I know when it's about...

Rocky's wife confirms Ben Moody's abuse.
I'm not sure why she's saying it but there you go. And yes it's her. She's been a poster in another Ev forum for a long time. 1) I've known Amy and Ben for many years. YES, they were engaged. 2) YES he abused her - Physically, and Emotional. 3)He will never admit to doing it because he is in denial about it. 4) the rest of the band did not know about the abuse because Amy was embarressed and never told anyone. I know why Ben left the band. I was there!! He made the right decision to leave otherwise he would have been killed by the rest of the guy's in the band!!! 5)Amy and Ben broke up right before going into the studio. Ben always wanted her back. She was over that relationship and had moved on. I know these things because I was there for all of it. I was on the road with them. It is your choice if you want to believe me or not. I will not argue about this. I know the truth. Just remember, the band has forgiven Ben and still talk to him. Amy will never repair that relationship. She has moved on. Can we all stop fighting about this? Renee I'm so happy Amy dumped him and gave us an amazing song like "The Last Song I'm Wasting On You". I hope she's fine now.

What Evanescence song are you listening to right now ?
The last song I'm wasting on you. It really is their best song ever. Wow. Her voice is so beautiful.

Ben Moody and Kelly Clarkson vandalising Amy Lee's House
Fallen doesn't sound poppier than Fallen to me actually... but anyway the reason I want TOD is to outsell Fallen is because Ben Moody sucks and I want something to burst his little bubble. That should do it... Not to mention a lot of people that think Evanescence is done without Ben. I had no idea it sold 13 million worldwide. The biggest album this year sold 10 millions. So they probably won't outsell Fallen but I hope they have a lot of commercial success with their singles. CMWYS has already done better than Going Under.

Bring Me To Life is just one song... Going Under, My Immortal, Everybody's Fool, Tourniquet, Taking Over Me, Whisper, etc are great.

NO. She is much more talented than them, this is exactly why I don't like Lacrymosa, Weight Of The World, Call Me When You're Sober type of songs from Evanescence. Amy wrote Breathe No More, she can do so much better. But okay, they basiically had all of their lives to come up with the Origin/Fallen songs, while they had a limited time to do TOD when they were new people. Some of the writing (the songs I mentioned) were probably more rushed... thankfully Amy's voice and the music are good enough to keep those songs good. Again, I said WOTW was laughable. No other song on the album is laughable. When did I ever say a bad word about Hello or Like You? Fallen was teen angst at some points but it was done so well (in most songs) and it was very wellwritten that it doesn't matter to me...

Ben Moody and Kelly Clarkson vandalising Amy Lee's House
Ben is a loser but Kelly is a bigger one because she doesn't even know Amy. So this is the story. This video is from 2004. The house wasn't Amy's but he told Kelly it was Amy's just so he could have it on tape that the "American Idol winner" is TPing a house. VERY lame. Especially on Kelly's part because she did think it was Amy's house.

Ben Moody and Kelly Clarkson vandalising Amy Lee's House
Do you think it's possible for TOD to match Fallen's success? It's not as commercial, there aren't any obvious singles, it's not a debut album, the sales are awful nowadays... I really hope it does match it or surpass it.

That's true too... I still love TOD, but I never listen to WOTW because the lyrics p*** me off. She's a great writer, this is good enough for Avril and Kelly - not Amy. I love how real "Origin" is, that's why I have these rants lately... I've been listening to Origin nonstop lately. Such a good album!

Ben Moody and Kelly Clarkson vandalising Amy Lee's House
I'm not so sure it's staged, and like you said even if it is, it's just pathetic. He needs to get the hell over himself and Kelly needs to mind her own damn business instead of trying to fit in so bad.

Ben Moody and Kelly Clarkson vandalising Amy Lee's House
Thank GOD someone shares my dislike for Kelly Clarkson. I can't stand that pathetic b**ch that is so desperate to fit in while everyone thinks she's so "cute". I hope more people see the loser that she is soon.

Ben Moody and Kelly Clarkson vandalising Amy Lee's House
Kelly Clarkson Vandalizes Amy Lee's House With Matt Zane? A video has surfaced on You Tube this weekend that shows Kelly Clarkson riding in the back of a van with known adult filmmaker and singer for Society 1 Matt Zane en route to vandalize Evanescence's lead singer Amy Lee's house. The clip seems to be an excerpt from a reality show entitled "In The Studio" During the teaser Kelly actually throws numerous rolls of toilet paper into the trees and over the house while laughing. It is unclear how Matt Zane and Ms. Clarkson ended up in the van together but even Zane seems surprised when he states "I can't believe American Idols Kelly Clarkson is riding in the back of a van going to commit vandalism!" Ron Jeremy and other other varied guests make appearances throughout the 4 minute clip but nothing seems more puzzling than the pairing of Zane and Clarkson. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nIlpYTqzes&eurl= First of all, Ben Moody is a complete loser. He's a good writer (although very repetetive with his productions) but he's a crappy person. Kelly Clarkson? She falls for this peer pressure and acts like a total b**ch. No respect for her. This is for TV so some might be staged but I doubt it. Check out Ben Moody destroying the Evanescence poster. Hopefully they pay for that and fail with their future projects. Ben does seem like an immature loser. Glad Amy dumped him. She's a better writer than him when she wants to be, she doesn't need him that desperately, I think.

Origin is the exact opposite of TOD! Meaningful lyrics written from the heart, interesting themes, REAL feeling of music - all missing in TOD. Not stirring up a fight, it's a conclusion I got. There are similar elements, but TOD is just too commercial and simple. You can tell the songs weren't written from the heart, unlike Origin and Fallen. Weight Of The World is just one big completely awful lyrical disaster. I think TOD is a new direction with old elements... a direction that is good MUSICALLY, more variety than Fallen, but an awful direction lyrically... writing for the sake of a hit and getting songs over with, just blunt in the sense it shouldn't be... the commercial one (not including Like You, of course). I can't wait for new music! I still listen to TOD and love it but most of the lyrics are so pop-ish, I don't feel Evanescence there in a lot of songs.

:( That would make sense. Uhh I need some new meaningful Evanescence music! I miss their old material so much. I still listen to it but I want new stuff.

What Evanescence song are you listening to right now ?
Understanding. Great song. I can't believe they didn't upgrade it for Fallen like they did with the other songs.

We usually get the albums preety late. Now that the band is gonna stay together, when do you think the next one will come out - and what do you want to see on it? I'd love for Amy to go back to writing songs from her soul. SS, CMWYS, WOTW, Lacrymosa, LC, GE are all very, very disppointing and commercial lyrically. They won't last the way the Origin songs have lasted, for me. More lyrics like Breathe No More, please. TOD was a big step down lyrically, I hope Terry leaves most of the writing to Amy next time (if he was the problem to begin with). I know Amy said Ben didn't allow her to be dark and honest with the lyrics, but with the exception of Like You - the themes on TOD are laughable compared to Fallen. Hmm, what else? I'd like another song about Amy's sister. They tend to be amazing. I want her to do it subtly and not make the issue seem repetetive. She followed that pattern very well till now, I want to see it continue. I'd love for them to make the music even darker and crazier, a lot of metal influences. Good lyrics, Amy's voice, dark music and I'm set! :) You?

What... was she doing?
I LOVE Like You's lyrics. "Even In Death" is kind of blunt as well... "Moonlight on the soft brown earth leads me to where you lay, they took you away from and now I'm taking you home... they don't hear you singing to me", that is really wrong to rock out to those lyrics and makes her look like SUCH a poser. I was really disappointed, but I don't know Amy so I have no idea if she's a poser or real when she says she longs "to lie cold in the ground"... Thank God she never performs it. The smiling/pointing to the ground when she sings "moonlight on the soft brown earth leads me to where you lay" just annoys me. I can totally see her performing Like You and pointing to the ground while singing "I'm coming for you" now.

What... was she doing?
I always wanted to see Amy perform Even In Death, Hello, or Like You but respected that it was too personal for her to handle on stage. But then I came across this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=LiOaaIfCu_c It actually takes away from the song. It looks so stupid to rock out to that song and makes the whole theme sick... in a bad way. I had an arguement about "Like You" online when TOD was released with someone that claimed she was desperately trying to sound dark, without actually meaning what she says. Now that's completely stupid and untrue, but this performance DOES make it all look so cheap. Does anyone agree? The part she says "Moonlight on the soft brown earth, leads me to where you lay" (1:02-1:04) looks so disrespectful and makes the song seem lighter. I'm glad she doesn't perform "Hello" and "Like You" now.

Ben Moody feat. Anastacia - Everything Burns
He's a good writer, it's a shame that he's gone. Amy is a great writer too when she puts her mind to it (Breathe No More, Lithium) but half of the songs she wrote with Terry on the album aren't all that... lyrically.
