I HATE Kevin Federline.
He's on WWE now. Can you realize THIS is connected to Britney? I can't imagine how awful the duet (God, the video) is going to be. http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a283/aerinzile/ontd/30.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a283/aerinzile/ontd/32.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a283/aerinzile/ontd/31.jpg ^ PATHETIC! The guy on the left is preety hot though.

I think it will be huge, personally.

Kevin insists no male dancers! Trying to ruin her comeback?
:) I was half-kidding with that, but he really IS Britney's Bobby Brown. :puke2:

The duet will ruin her comeback if anything. Can you imagine all the parodies? The world will hear it on October 31th, the latest. He is Britney's Bobby Brown. Goodbye, Britney. :(

Which album had the best lyrics?
Really? Personally I was bothered by the number of love songs on The Open Door. I connect to Fallen much, much better lyrically... even if the subjects are cliched, the writing is impressive and a lot easier to relate to. Depression (one of the "cliched subject") can come from break-ups too. But once the song is just about breakup (CMWYS, Lacrymosa, etc) it's just not as strong to me. :( Your Star, Lose Control and Good Enough are just terrible lyrically. Sweet Sacrifice isn't all that either. I guess my expectation were crazy after Origin and Fallen, but so far I don't find the lyrics on TOD (those that I'm able to make out anyway) to be as appealing as Origin and Fallen

"Crazy" out in 3 weeks! [Update: No song with DionneWarwick]
Yes. Someone registered to to Dione's fan club, it is confirmed that they recorded together in February. The "People" interview where Britney said she had found her voice was published in February as well, I'm sure she didn't sound that bad. Or maybe she did, lol... :( It's just weird that a duet with Britney Spears wouldn't make the cut of any release. It would have to be a really bad recording. I hope that song leaks anyway. Dionne sucks. Not only did she bash Britney before (back in 2003) now she rejects her song.

Wait, Da Brat made the cut and Britney didn't? **** YOU DIONNE. :(

"Crazy" out in 3 weeks! [Update: No song with DionneWarwick]
LOL  Well, if someone's gonna say that, obviously it's going to be her own damn fanclub! It is disappointing though. I don't care for the Crazy track that much, I really wanted to hear this. What b**ch would call Britney Spears to record a song with her and then not put it on the album? I really want good vocals on Britney's next album, I hope this is not any indication. ^_^

c**p, Britney didn't make the cut. :( From Dionne Warwick's official website: The finest female artists of our generation alongside the legendary Dionne Warwick presenting newly recorded versions of the greatest songs of her career. It will be in 3 weeks, the new baby pictures will be out in 2 weeks too. It will probably overshadow the album release. :D

Working with Britney Spears?
You called it a fight when all it was just people posting different opinions, it's obviously not nonsense. Big deal. Oh, and if you really backtrack the posts to see where Kylie was first mentioned, it wasn't me who mentioned her first.

Which album had the best lyrics?
Origin Fallen The Open Door I haven't listened to TOD yet (I'll be hearing it today!) but I can't even decide if Fallen is better than Original lyrically. I think their best lyrics are the ones that didn't make the cut like Breathe No More and Missing. You?

Jessica Simpson - I Belong To Me
She can't sing worth c**p. That's preety sad. What happened to her?

Working with Britney Spears?
No... I never dissed Kylie or said Britney was better. Show me where I did any of that? :) But we can't deny that neither one of them is really famous for their raw talent. Are they famous for their deep artistic lyrics or powerhouse voice? Not really. You might prefer Kylie's songs and voice, which is cool. I was merely commenting on something that sounded way wrong to me, and as it's THE SCISSOR SISTERS forum, I'm allowed to say I don't find Kylie that talented. Great voice? :puke2: That's simply your taste, technically she's not exactly this generation's Aretha Franklin. The only difference I see between them is the clean image Kylie has. She's a lot more classy, I'll give you that. If anything, you guys are the ones who turned it into "Kylie is better" thread. Deal with the fact not everyone will agree with you.

"Crazy" out in 3 weeks! [Update: No song with DionneWarwick]
Well, Kevin's album is. If anyone buys that album, this song will leak rightaway. I think that is horrible. Enough material to make fun of her for like a DECADE! On a sidenote, in a month Dionne Warwick's duets album will be released. If Britney made the cut, we'll have a (probably better) new song. :D I guess we'll see in 3 weeks what made Britney say "I found out after the baby that I can sing!". I have a feeling it won't be anything special. Remember when she said "What Its Like To Be" had some of her best vocals ever? Yeah... :puke2: She also said smoking made her voice better. EDIT: From Dionne Warwick's official website: The finest female artists of our generation alongside the legendary Dionne Warwick presenting newly recorded versions of the greatest songs of her career. (IN STORES NOVEMBER 7, 2006) Produced by Damon Elliott Walk On By-(featuring Gloria Estefan) Message To Michael - (featuring Cyndi Lauper) Close To You - (featuring Mya) I'll Never Love This Way Again - (featuring Gladys Knight) Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head - (featuring Kelis) Deja Vu I Say A Little Prayer - (featuring Reba McEntire) Anyone Who Had A Heart - (featuring Wynonna Judd) Then Came You - (featuring Lisa Tucker) Wishin' And Hopin' - (featuring Olivia Newton-John) Love Will Find A Way - (featuring Cheyenne Elliott) The Windows Of The World - (featuring Deborah Cox/Da Brat/Chante Moore/Angie Stone) Do You Know The Way To San Jose? - (featuring Celia Cruz) So she didn't make the cut.

One day sales predict Evanescence will reach #1 in the US!
Yes, Beyonce and Christina's albums are a fine example of that. Their albums debuted at #1, yet died more and more every week since... Back To Basics is currently at #29. Judging by everyone else's comments about the album, it won't have a huge impact... Fallen was very poppy. The Open Door is critically-acclaimed, but not catchy enough to the general public. I haven't heard the album yet, I'm just saying what everyone else is saying. Again, judging by everyone else is saying, Lithium is a perfect second single. Let's hope they continue this way.

Great. :D

Working with Britney Spears?
I think he meant he just preferred her, but both aren't famous for their raw talent. Anyway.

Working with Britney Spears?
The UK critics love her, true, but technically speaking she's not that talented. She has good dance music and she's a nice person with a clean image, unlike Britney who's become a lipsynching tabloid fodder. Kylie is more respected personally. But if you really look at her music only, it's just fun and absolutely meaningless music. No deep lyrics, no powerful voice... nada. Kylie and Britney make catchy music, period. They're not great at songwriting and they aren't vocalists as well.
-
Working with Britney Spears?
Hey, I like Britney. I know she can't sing worth c**p, but neither can't Kylie. The fact that I'm a fan doesn't stop me from saying that. Kylie has an average voice, at best. Britney too. Both make fun and meaningless music. NEITHER ONE IS CREDIBLE musically yet they [or just Kylie] worked with the SS, that's the point.

One day sales predict Evanescence will reach #1 in the US!
350-400k sold. :D I'm glad. It's a make/break second album, it was barely promoted, leaked a month before its release all the Ben Moody drama... Yet they managed to outsell Christina Aguilera's first week. Christin promoted the hell out of BTB, the album only leaked a week or two before its release, no bad press...  I just hope this album will have longevity. Unlike "Fallen" it's not very commercial. The band took a huge risk...

Working with Britney Spears?
You may have to consider re-reading my post. "Sorry, Kylie may have been in the biz longer... But as far as talent goes, she's not above Britney. Neither can really sing, neither can really write." Britney writes some of her songs as well, but let's admit it... neither one of them is this great, credible, unbelievable songwriter. They make catchy music, that's all. I was talking about talent, yet you started mentioning success. If we're already at it, Britney sold around 80M from albums alone. Call me when Kylie does that. That's irrelevant to my point, but since you pointed it out anyways... :)
