I think releasing this could be a mistake, it's probably my least favourite from the album and this is coming from a huge Emeli fan. Agree that Maybe would have been a better choice, it's fantastic.

It's just all about Love Without Tragedy atm. I hope she releases it and does a single version without Mother Mary on, I do like it but LWT is far superior and it seems completely pointless to put the two songs together as one.

Alicia might be a bit of a wildcard because she'll have two versions of GOF doing well this week - the normal version and the 'inferno' version with Nicki Minaj that's being played on Capital. Keys/Aloud for #1

I really hope Alicia can put herself up there with the other 2 big releases. I'm anticipating at least Top 5. The last couple of weeks have been hectic as far as the upper regions of the chart are concerned!

The charts aren't irrelevant but I don't think they matter as much as they used to. I doubt many people know what song is #1 at any given time.

I hope Nicki releases another song like Super Bass, because that epitomises everything I love about her. I think the choruses are some of the best from any song she's done and the chorus is undeniable. I think she works the best when she basically raps over pop songs.

Figure 8's a really good song, my favourite from the album, but unfortunately I just can't see it doing well as a single. However much I love Halcyon I don't think anything else on it will be successful. Hopefully I'll be proven wrong.

I don't know why MDNA flopped so badly, it's a really strong album in my opinion. Girl Gone Wild and Masterpiece could have been huge had they have been promoted correctly. It just sounds so summery, it's the album I listened to the most when I was on holiday.

Devotion's clicked with me suddenly! At first it was just meh, but in the last week I've started listening to it and it's really good. There isn't really a song on here I dislike; it's effortless and easy to listen to.

Lover To Lover's a really good song, but it's going to flop. I really don't see the point in releasing a new single, she's admitted herself that she isn't a singles artist so it would be logical to move onto the next album after the surprising success of Spectrum. Saying that, I would have said the same about Spectrum's release and that did amazingly well, so you never whether Lover To Lover could do the same. #unlikely

I was hoping Nicki Minaj might have a slot, but seeing as though she's ending her UK tour soon it doesn't seem likely. Looking forward to seeing Alicia Keys though, Girl On Fire is pretty epic.

Va Va Voom's up to #20, it could outpeak itself this week. The video does at last seem to be having an effect, but the chart run is going to look really odd! LWWY is almost out of the T40 now, proof that despite beating Ellie in its peak she will have the better longevity and (hopefully) better sales.

I went to see Nicki last night too! I thought she'd have been on a little bit longer though, and she did a lot of songs that she features on and no one's ever heard of so that was a bit disappointing. Overall she was really good, she sounds good live and is quite an amazing dancer.

33/40, wooo! Quite a lot were guesses, but most of them were educated. The one about CIA couldn't have been anything other than Clique really, could it? Nice idea.

Nicki Minaj has just premiered a new song, Freedom, and she's usually good at releasing songs quickly in the UK so it should be available this week. I don't think it will do very well, as with a lot of Nicki's pre-album releases, but on first listen it sounded good so you never know.

I really hope 212 can keep Top 40 at least, but sales are always high around Christmas so it could quite easily be pushed out.
