The Truth About Love doesn't have an obvious big hit on it in my opinion, but Try is one of the better songs and a good choice for a second single. I think releases should co-incide with the music video release, because that allows a little bit of hype but nothing ridiculous. I think Price Tag's was done like that.

If Born This Way had been released on the Sunday instead of the Friday, it would have been one heck of a chart battle that week. iirc, it was the week of the Brits and Someone Like You's first week at the top, and Price Tag was selling quite well that week too. I think BTW could have done it though, didn't it sell 60k in like 30 hours or spmething?

I think it stands a good chance as it will have a lot of pre-orders and they do have a lot (too many, in my opinion) of fans.

However much I want this to go #1, it doesn't really stand a chance. I suppose if One Direction's single is really rubbish it might do well on its first week and then plummet, leaving Ellie to climb in her second week. I don't know if anything is out the week after either though.
