Glad this is showing up already! I really hope radio support Try because it has the potential to be at least as big as Blow Me. The video's fantastic, too. The Truth About Love doesn't have an obvious big hit on it in my opinion, but Try is one of the better songs and a good choice for a second single. Is it likely that Pink will get an X Factor performance?

#4 (PSY) is 55% on Kworb and Leona is 30% so she's certainly not looking to move up :lol: Ellie is quite close at 27% but for now I'd say Leona is looking to hold steady at #5.

I don't know whether you've included this in the figures above, but the album version of ACH is just outside the T40 so I'd say that would be above Leona overall.

You have to hand it to Swedish House Mafia, very few acts would be able to go head to head with Adele and even come close to beating her.

I know what you mean, and there isn't a radio edit without it you can buy.

I think all 3 of this week's big new entries will end in the YE Top 40. Such a great week, sales for the Top 3 are gonna be huge.

I thought Wonder was out Sunday as well.

I think releases should co-incide with the music video release, because that allows a little bit of hype but nothing ridiculous. I think Price Tag's was done like that.

If Born This Way had been released on the Sunday instead of the Friday, it would have been one heck of a chart battle that week. iirc, it was the week of the Brits and Someone Like You's first week at the top, and Price Tag was selling quite well that week too. I think BTW could have done it though, didn't it sell 60k in like 30 hours or spmething?

He put on Twitter that he knows the grammar is wrong but it sings better. You don't have to say anything wouldn't sound nearly as effective.

Are you saying that no matter *how* rubbish OD's single is, it'll go to #1 regardless?

 

I think it stands a good chance as it will have a lot of pre-orders and they do have a lot (too many, in my opinion) of fans.

 

However much I want this to go #1, it doesn't really stand a chance. I suppose if One Direction's single is really rubbish it might do well on its first week and then plummet, leaving Ellie to climb in her second week. I don't know if anything is out the week after either though.
