I think it's only a matter of time before Pink gets overtaken by NeYo, unfortunately. If she can hold on until Thursday she should get #1 officially, but I'm not holding out very much hope.

Looks like this week could be one of the most exciting charts in a long time, I don't think anyone knows what's going to #1. Glad to see Pink the front-runner at such an early stage but I really hope she can hold off the other 2.

It sounds like a winner to me, although it could be a long-stayer as a pose to a high-peaker for reasons mentioned above. I think it could easily become bigger than Heaven, if not Next To Me.

To be honest, I don't know if the album will do that well. Even if it gets to number 1 that doesn't guarantee good sales, especially in today's sales climate. I don't think having a successful previous album helps much either as Plan B's didn't do that well at all sales-wise.

I think it's out on the 14th October. I never thought that Florence's voice would sound good on a dance track, but on Spectrum she sounded amazing and on this it's even better :wub:

Calvin and Flo team up once again for the 5th (!) single from Calvin's as-of-yet unreleased 3rd album, 18 months. Looks like my chances at the YE top 3 are void... Oh well, as long as I maintain my position in the top 10 I'll be satisfied.

I think the number ones this year have been better, but music in general I much preferred in 2011. A lot of my favourite songs from 2011 never got to number 1 (such as Rolling In The Deep, S&M, Shake It Out, Video Games, Born This Way etc.), whereas quite a few of my favourite songs from this year have been #1s (Domino, Titanium, We Are Young etc.). Overall though, music was significantly better in 2011 in my opinion.

I'm not entirely sure of what you mean, but shuffling became a trend after PRA to an extent. That's the only one I can think of.

But Wonder isn't Emeli's single is it? I'm sure I heard her say somewhere that it was gonna be Naughty Boy's debut single, and she was just featuring on it. It's not on her album at any rate. I always assumed Read All About It, Part III was going to br the next single. It seems like the obvious choice to me.

Are people honestly still expecting How We Do's release to be brought forward? I understand this view 2 months ago, but isn't the only reason to rush release if a fake version starts gettig high on the chart? I think it's about time to accept that it will be released when it has always been scheduled.

Does anyone know why 'River' by Emeli Sande is currently #61 on the iTunes chart?
