Looks like the Pound The Alarm video is having an effect, it's up to #6 now. I'm hoping this does as well as Starships.

Nicki Minaj has released the video for Pound The Alarm (at a reasonable time this time) so that will undoubtedly rise over the next few days.

I don't really think Pound The Alarm is a summery song, I'd call it more autumnal. Starships is an outdoorsy, beachy song, whereas I think PTA is more of a song to be played in a club.

It's nothing ground-breaking but pretty inoffensive, I went for top 3 assuming there isn't much competition that week.

I remember when Black Heart first came out people were saying, being 59p, it would peak high and then plummet. Looks like they were wrong! Saying that, I don't think anyone could have predicted Black Heart's success.

I think Brokenhearted will start off poorly, but when it reaches the Top 100 / 40 there will be a rapid increase for it. I bet a lot of people don't know it's out yet.

Heatwave is such an odd song. The verses really do not go with the chorus, it sounds like two separate songs to me.

In general I prefer the songs she doesnt release as (apart from those three) Only If For A Night, Breaking Down, Howl and Between Two Ligs are my favourites of hers. That said, it may just be because of not hearing them as much.

I think 'Brokenhearted' by Karmin is released on the 22nd July, I expect it will do qute well. I've heard it loads of times on TV and radio, it's really catchy.

I don't really want Spectrum to go Top 40. Florence is my favourite artist ever but Spectrum is by no means the best thing she has done. Why couldn't Calvin have remixed Only If For A Night or Breaking Down? I probably will buy the song, but I don't want it to be remembered as her best.

Isn't Pink's new song out tomorrow too? I'd expect that to go T10

OA/OS would be better in my opinion, every song at #1 would get there deservedly and there would be very few 'non number ones'.
